I’m a self admitted espresso snob. I prefer freshly roasted organic beans and making it at home with grass fed collagen peptides, C8 MCT, organic coconut oil, and only bone dry foam from organic half and half. I was back visiting my parents in PA and we were in Ohio and I stopped at Stonefruit for an espresso with dry foam - unbelievable BEST espresso I’ve ever had. The barista made it PERFECTLY and the bean taste (Smoky Hollow) was so damn good I turned right around and asked if I could buy those beans.

I’ve lived in California for 16 years, mostly LA. Tons of super yuppie organic coffee shops as well as roasters. I also would get Purity Coffee beans and Lifeboost beans that are all “clean” organic so much that functional and integrative doctors offices suggest them out here in California. But once we started ordering Stonefruit Smoky Hollow and Frankenstein beans more regularly- we now can’t stand the California roasters and only use Purity occasionally and usually when we run out of Stonefruit.

Stonefruit is a hidden treasure of really good tasting beans!! We hope the word spreads beyond the local area in Ohio and PA.

Also - customer service in the store and when having questions to order online is incredible. They’re so darn nice!! I also appreciate the different names of the beans and coffees having meanings related to the local history. ...

I went on Sunday and my drink was made perfect! I was so impressed. Just enough vanilla, and the staff was so warm and inviting! However....this morning (Monday) same drink, different crew - no vanilla taste whatsoever in the drink. I did ask for it, she claimed she put it in - but it was totally different from the previous day. I told her to put in 1/2 pump - my mistake - should have said full pump. Maybe she didn't put a full pump in to begin with, but disappointed. When I visit Boardman, I try and go to the local businesses, and the last time I went there (about a year ago) I had the same issue with the vanilla. I thought they had corrected it. My mistake. I'm here one more day - I'll find another local coffee show to spend my money. I so wanted this to be my go-to spot when I visit Boardman. Maybe I'll give it...

The atmosphere here was amazing. As soon as I walked in I wanted to sit down and hangout. This would be such a nice place to read a book while having coffee or homework or whatever. It has a dark, calm, soothing ambiance that is really inviting.

The barista fit the whole vibe as she wasn't super outgoing, but friendly and calm. She offered me a punch card when I told her it was my first time there and was friendly towards my kid. They also had a little section with more seating, in a brighter area, with items they sold. This is a bigger place than one would expect.

It wasn't the best coffee, but I chose something a little quickly off the menu as I was in a bit of a rush and it may just have been not to my liking. I would for sure come back to this place and would love...

Very cool little coffee spot. They have a large menu of specialty drinks, but the barista was willing to talk to me about what I like and don't like and customized my drink to my liking. The store is very cool and decorated nicely--make it feel cozy and inviting. There are large farm tables, high top tables, arm chairs or bar stools for seating, so you can pretty much have whatever experience you're looking for. They also had some games around for passing the time while you enjoy your drinks. They roast their own coffee and had beans to go, and also sold some local items--we bought some coffee, a mug, and a candle to support the local businesses. Worth checking out!
