Capriotti's Sandwich Shop — Restaurant in Ohio

We have been coming here at least twice a month since they opened up in Canfield and have been very happy with the service and the food. My only complaint is the fact that they have always given a free grilled cheese sandwich with the purchase of a large sub, but now you can only get that if you order online, which is fine except for the fact that you can’t customize your order online so we have to call and place an order each time and so now we don’t get the grilled cheese. This is not the fault of the owners of this franchise but rather the fault of the corporate office, they need to fix their website. Also my only other complaint is the fact that the past two times we have ordered here the quantity of our sandwiches have really been reduced. We are used to the sandwiches being full of meat and lettuce and such. I have noticed that both times this has happened neither of the owners were in the shop, so I think the staff is trying to save the owners money but in fact they are giving concerns to the customers. I don’t know when y’all switched your fries from the flat fries the regular fries but we came to Campfield just for the flat fries because we don’t like the regular fries in Niles and then we got the 20 inch French dip sub and the meat is so salty I can’t eat it not happy at all and this is my second review because my first review was when y’all first opened and you got five stars crazy how a business goes down so fast you might want to think about hiring older people to work there too because your cashier/whatever you wanna call her had nothing but an attitude. And for you needing time date and location, it was the Campfield location on October 5 at approximately 3 o’clock between three and 330. And your waitress server food prep whatever she is walked over to one of the other girls and was like oh and she didn’t leave a tip either so yeah, I heard them say that totally...

I love Capriotti’s! I am there at least once a week, sometimes twice. I always order a Philly Cheesesteak with hot peppers and mushrooms, fry and a drink. I was very disappointed tonight! My Philly had no hot peppers and was barely cooked. The fries were terrible. I don’t think they were cooked. When I got home it was a raw mess with all the fries stuck together. I tossed them in the woods for an animal to feast on tonight. I speculate that my Philly was actually made for the lady in front of me who didn’t want mushrooms. I think they remade hers and gave me the first one they made for her which would have been fine if I got the hot peppers I paid for. In the store’s defense, they seemed busy.
