Chitter Chatter Ice Cream — Restaurant in Ohio

I’m going to give the rating based on the real reason of our visit today: my son was craving a milkshake. I wanted to try local as well. I got the blueberry, he got the pina colada. Delicious milkshakes all the way around. They were thick and mine had whole blueberries in it. My son needed a spoon to eat his because it couldn’t come through his straw no matter how hard he sucked on the straw.

Now we did have a hot dog…and mine was over priced for what I got and the taste and expectation I had for it were average. What would have made the hot dog better? Bacon bits instead of the tiny wimpy pieces of bacon I got on top and liquid cheese of some sort vs a few pieces of thinly shredded cheese. It would have been nice to have a hot, hot dog vs just a steamed dog. The chili cheese dog had the same small pinch of cheese and the chili barely covered the dog. I’d come back for the ice cream and shakes but probably won’t grab food items...

Just had the most scrumptious blueberry yogurt, which came recommended by the very kind young lady behind the counter. Thank you! Conveniently located on Airport Hwy in Holland, Chitter Chatter boasts new flavors each week along with a few flavors always available. The servings are generous and the prices are beyond fair. It's not a flashy place, but that's good because i don't want to pay extra for the flash. Just give me quality ingredients and a variety of choices, which this place does. What I love about this place is that they have an almond milk soft serve ice cream and it is really good and they also have a sugar free soft serve as well that is really good for those like my cousin who can't have the sugar. They taste so much like regular ice cream. I haven't been able to happily eat soft serve ice cream in so long. We drive 45 min just for those ice cream. It's worth it when we get those ice cream cravings on these hot summer days and the prices are reasonable too. I get my cones with crunch coat topping...
