This place has been a favorite of mine for over 20 years. I’ve noticed some small changes in the past years but nothing too ridiculous. But today they really made a bad impression. Around 11:30 AM a few of us at work ordered lunch and picked it up to bring back to the office. I noticed that my taco salad tasted like dish soap or like a cleaning product. I told one of my coworkers and said that maybe it was the guacamole I forgot to ask to be excluded. She reminded me that guacamole does not taste like dish soap or cleaning detergent (I hate guacamole 😂). I thought maybe it was my taste buds since I’m getting over a cold. But, when my other coworker stopped in my office to eat her taco salad she mentioned that her shell tasted like dish soap or something. I thought that maybe on accident the shells might’ve been sprayed while someone was cleaning. I called the restaurant and told two people our concern. It didn’t seem that they understood what I was saying as the man on the phone was telling me how they make the salads. I asked to speak to the lady who rung us out but was told she had left. I asked to speak with the manager. I didn’t catch his name but he was rude. I explained my concern and he requested that I bring the salads back for new ones. I explained that we couldn’t return until after work. He kept repeating that I wouldn’t get credit if I didn’t return the salads untouched at that very moment. This guy was rude and made no sense. I don’t know if I’ll head over with these salads after work or just stop going there. I could understand if it mistakenly happened while someone was cleaning. But for him to be so unprofessional and dismissive of my call and concern is very disappointing. He said, “no one else has called about the salads”. Nice...

DO NOT EAT HERE! If you ever find yourself debating where to eat Mexican food I will give you a piece of advice. Always pick the other place. We had a wonderful meal and this is the reason I gave it 2 stars. The issue we had however was we were than over charged for our meal by a noticeable amount. They were very quick to fix the bill however they still did not fix it to the correct mathematical amount. I decided to cut the loss and just take the amount they refunded and leave. I do not believe it was a simple mistake as they over charged 1 meal by 3 dollars and there was still more that was unaccounted for. I honestly just wanted to go at that point. I should have look closer at the itemized receipt so that is on me. I do believe However that there was some shenanigans going on. After we left we realized that we had left a small child's toy and called to tell them we were coming right back. In most cases it should have still been on the table but that was not the case. They shoved everything into a tote and threw it to the side. They offered to look for it but I truly wonder how much it was actually being "looked" for. Makes me wonder what happens if someone forgets their car keys or their wallet. I will not be going back and will instead pick another place for Mexican, even if it is Tacobell. In closing you may get a decent meal here but it will cost you more than the price on the menu as they seem to create their own prices. I change my overall rating to a single star as I am now super pissed recalling...

In the past this place used to be a great location to come to bring your whole family feed them and have a good time for a relatively affordable price. Obviously things have changed so not everything's going to be able to stay what it once was but I feel this place either needs new management or better trained management. I was here with my family several weeks ago when a fight broke out between a large group of people that were having a birthday party or something like that. I was in the vicinity of the fight and verbal argument and everyone in my area It was not involved cleared the vicinity and order not to get involved or to be harmed in the process of what was to unfold. My meal was ruined, my time with my family was ruined, and my love for this restaurant was ruined. I did not leave without paying and I paid my bill amongst the chaos and the cops running in to stop the fight. Next day I contacted them regarding this not wanting my money back but just simply a comp for a free meal or dinner to simply replace what was taken from me that very night. They said they're unable to do that and at that point I stopped talking to them. This restaurant has become a place that I would not recommend to anybody if you want have a safe dinner with...

We haven't been here in a while, having moved a bit farther away and having closer places to go for El Camp's type of food. When in the area recently, we made a point to stop in for lunch. It looked like our old spot, although not as clean or happy. The vibe, if you care about things like that, was different. No joy. No warm welcome or smiling service. Not to say it was 'bad' - but something's up. Our food was good, although lacking flavor. It's so hard to knock El Camp's, but the truth is that my chicken didn't taste like anything at all. There wasn't even any hot sauce on the table, and our server was pretty scarce. I salted my food, which isn't usually necessary at this type of restaurant as you know. The salsa, though, was as good as I recalled and the tortilla chips were warm and fresh. That made me happy. Shrug. Overall, I'm glad we stopped in, and hope it was just an off day. At least their pricing has not gone the way of what seems like every other restaurant. Most places we eat out are now a one-and-done because of the ridiculous increases - way past any 'pandemic' excuse, or any of that claptrap.

Food was amazing. Service was fine although it lacked a personal touch. The server was fine but lacked the niceties that you may expect. Food was fairly quick and was delicious. We got the Fajita meal for two and it was delicious. Took leftovers home and lasted for another meal! The atmosphere was noisy and loud which fits the style restaurant, I just prefer a quieter atmosphere.

Love this place! I regularly drive all the way down from Cuyahoga Falls but the drive is worth it for the delicious food and wonderful service. Abraham is absolutely amazing, and I've been coming here so long that he knows my order by heart. The food is always great and don't forget to ask for the hot salsa/sauce, it's the best I've ever had!
