Handel's Ice Cream Austintown — Restaurant in Ohio

I had the same problem last year with the fruit flies they were swarming all over me that’s the price you pay for standing in line in the 90 degree heat apparently theres a sushi bar scrosss the street ?or something guy next to me in line kept sampling his egg roll platter in the barren summer heat no idea WHY ? just standing there I couldn’t take it anymore smelled very much bad I took a break next store and got a subway had to let the line cool down a bit cuz that tray of sashimi or god knows what that guy had was smellin up the whole ice cream stand people were giving him the stink eye stopped by cuz my sis gave me a gift card back in September and I had to drop the bike off at Midas so I figured why the hell not I wanted to try something called Oreo dough on a cone since I heard good things but I got the old rainbow sherbet instead I couldn’t figure out which ones was which it was a hot one the guy at the Harley dealer told me this was the spot for a vanilla cone much better than DQ had to stop by and see for myself don’t know why they always hold your ice cream cone upside down and stare at you there ? that always weirds me out they didn’t do that here nice lil place near Dunkin’ Donuts not sure why I came around one oclock in the afternoon tho that was too damn early for all that ice cream in my gut felt like the buzzards were circlin me in the desert good thing I had a bottle of Aquafina on me also this location does serve pup cups for your dog if you want and I heard there’s a good Italian joint across the street from here? Most unprofessional worker taking orders there. The employee, Kenzie? Decided it was more important to harass a customer and her BF trying order by pretending she couldn’t hear her, making her repeat herself as well as her bf while laughing through it all. Just to embarrass them. I called to talk to a manager or franchise owner, I spoke to a Journey? I did not receive a call back from any manger. However, I was told they get complaints about this individual and that they would talk with her. I’m sorry that is the problem. She does NOT need to be working with the public if she doesn’t know how to behave let alone be professional. Hands down the absolute BEST ice cream I have EVER eaten. Their service is wonderful, the prices are great especially when you consider the quality of ice cream, and I look forward to going there when we get the opportunity. We’ve tried tons of different flavors and Ive never had any that I didn’t like. Everything is excellent. (Though my personal favorite is a season flavor called Shmoopie) The ice cream is almost velvet like, smooth and creamy and not “soft serve” but softer and smooth rather than hard. I love the consistency of it especially when you first get it. We always buy when we are there by the quarts because its too good not to have left overs for the next day.
