Kraus' Pizza — Restaurant in Ohio

This was unfortunately not what we expected. The young man who was behind the bar was incredibly scattered and overwhelmed for whatever reason. He needs training or the support of another staff member so the guest experience isn’t impacted like ours was. We sat for 15 minutes before he was able to greet us even though there were only 2 tables sat and 4 people at the counter. Everyone else seemed set so we just figured maybe he was catching up as some other tables had just gotten up from the look of things. Finally comes over and no menus in hand just hi what you want to drink? We asked for beverages and menus. Walked by a couple mins later. He said he poured our drinks and forgot them. Comes back with drinks no menus. We used our phones to look at the menu before he brought them. Ordered 2 side salads, 12 wings well done, Jesse fries, BLT, and a mini 2 topping pizza. Jesse fries came out first followed by the well done wings. Asked about salads and he said they would be a minute. Salads come out next and then we asked about the rest. Said couple minutes fry was backed up. Pizza came out next. Wasn’t piping hot so we were kind of confused. Then asked about the BLT since it was for the kid at our table, took another 10 minutes. It’s just bacon lettuce and tomato. I don’t know what was up but when we went to the restroom the kitchen was kicking it and clowning so they weren’t that busy in the back as we know they do take outs so we had blamed it on that but then didn’t. We have been before and usually have the lady bartender serving us and things are always fine. Maybe it was a bad night for him, maybe he was scattered for another reason but all in all it was disappointing and not what Kraus’ is about normally. Next time we will request one...

Walked in with the family, sat down at a table. Was excited to try this place, all I have heard was good about their food. Waitress said she would be with us in a minute. She asked another woman to wait on us, couldn't hear what was said she laughed and went back to the kitchen area. Then the waitress that said she would help us out in a minute, about 10 minutes later was telling someone at the bar she was out of tickets, and couldn't take orders. Sucks because all I have heard is good about the food here. Maybe next time if i ever decide to come back someone will be able to take my order so I can finally try Straus pizza, and chicken wings? I don't know. That was absolutely mind blowing, finding reasons not to serve customers, that just want to eat, pay their bill and go on with life.
