Morrie's Place — Restaurant in Ohio

Honestly, this was probably the worst experience I've ever had at a restaurant/bar.

I took 2 of my contractors/friends there for dinner on 6/19/24 as they raved about the porkchops! We had some drinks to catch up first. Then 2 things happened after.

1.) We went outside for a few minutes (but put coasters on water glasses to save our seats at the bar). Came back and someone was sitting in one of the seats...and our waters were gone. I asked the gentleman sitting there if he would mind giving up the seat for my friend. He didn't even acknowledge it, so I let it go...life is too short. One of my friends even asked the barmaid about it, but she didn't want to get involved.

2.) Because we didn't have 3 seats anymore, 1 person left. I asked the younger girl bartender (not the blondish girl as she was nice) very politely if we could have another drink whenever she had time. 10 minute's later she said "Can I just make them doubles?" I asked "why?" Her reply was "So I don't have to keep coming back over here."

I mean you can't make this stuff up. I get she was busy, but none of us were pushy or in a hurry. And there were other redflags too like the bartender blowing vape/smoke at the draft beer in her hand that was being served to a customer.

Anyway, none of us made a big deal. I just asked for our tab, paid it and left. (which was over $100 and would have been much more if we stayed). I never got to try the food. Better places to...

Nice neighborhood place. Friendly and attentive staff. Looked clean and smelled clean. We both had the mushroom burger. With fries. The burger was huge, juicy and tasted great. The bun was toasted. The meat to bun ratio was perfect. Our meal was so large, we had to take the rest home. Tasted just as good reheated. Today we had the pork chop dinner, baked potato and cottage cheese, 2 slices Italian bread. The pork chops were nicel seasoned, juicy and tender. My cousin had the vegetable medley. She said the medley was grilled and wonderful, as was her pork chop. Yes, half our dinner went to carryout, we ordered desert. We had cherry pie and New York style cheesecake. Fresh strawberries over the cheese cake please! Both were delicious, the cherry filling didn't taste like filling from the can. Overall, delicious meal worth the price. We plan on going...

Me and my family came to eat because of how many great things we have heard. We got there at 5:30 didn’t get our food till 7:00. My dads pork chop was completely raw we asked the cook to put the pork chop back on the grill we waited another half an hour and we STILL didn’t get the food. I asked for no cheese and I got cheese on my salad. There was multiple groups of people commenting about how we shouldn’t have brought kids and glared at us the entire time. The waitress we had was very sweet and took a percentage off our recipes but our overall experience was horrible. When we were waiting on our food the cooks were out smoking a cigarette MULTIPLE times. Would never go...
