Nana's and Papa's — Restaurant in Ohio

We walked in with a party of 6, sat and waited patiently for 20 minutes to finally get our order taken, then waited another hour to be told after asking for an update that it was still going to be a while until we got our food. A party of 4 walked in when we did, sat down, ate and paid for their meal before we even got our drinks. Then when we told the waitress we were leaving because we still had a really long drive ahead of us(a 13 hour drive that we were now an hour behind on), she was quite rude about it and shouted at us that we still needed to pay for our drinks. Wow. My brother has breakfast here and likes it. I had Friday special fried perch and fries. It was so burnt I could not tell if the fries were potato or sweet potato. I ate a 1/3 of one fry. Yuck Must have fried the fish in the same drier. Burnt, dry, could not eat it. The cole slaw was ok. When I complained, the waitress said it wasn't burnt and every one like their food. Cannot rate the food. My husband and I ordered but left as the waitress advised that the owner REFUSES to allow anyone to have their own drink. I am sensitive to chlorine and my family who arrived with me brought their own bottled water. I cannot eat at a restaurant who refuses clients to have bottled water. So so sad. City water bothers some people. Maybe they refuse babies too? Don't bring formula...
