We ordered the smashburger, a quesadilla with chicken, and chicken strips basket with tots. So be fore warned if you don't notice it on the menu. If they ask if you would like other than fries, they're going to charge $1.50 extra. They don't tell you that or at least our waitress did not. I had the burger. It was a double burger fresh meat pattys not frozen. It was not very flavorful but it was good. Added salt and made it a lot better. Fries are fresh cut and came out pretty tasty, however, they are heavily salted so if you don't like that, make sure you let them know. Quesadilla was very basic shredded cheese, melted with some pieces of chicken and then tossed on the grill to crisp it up. For $10.00 I don't think it was worth it. The wife got the chicken strips and the tater tots. The chicken strips had fresh chicken strip meat. However, the breading had a weird burnt taste to it. They weren't horrible but they weren't the best we ever had and it was a nice try on their part. Using the fresh chicken breast helped. The tots came out cold. As I said before she was charged an extra $1.50 for those. Overall it was a very average experience. The restaurant had a lot of guests and it took a long time for the food to come out for what we ordered. There was a steady flow of people so I don't think this was a bad restaurant with this many people coming to patronize them. Our experience is just average. Hope this helps.

First time trying this place. I've passed it a few times and thought I'd give it a try for lunch. Breonna was our waitress and she was also training, super nice staff and very informative, we got 2 appetizers pickle bread and the house fries with sircacha. The fries we cooked perfectly tasted amazing and well seasoned, but it was the smokehouse mayo that was absolutely spectacular I couldn't get enough, I liked it so much I had to ask for 2 to take home, the girlfriend loved her pickle bread. I got the bbq burger and as you can see it is stacked and did not disappoint, tasted amazing the perfect combo of cheese, bbq, seasoned burger and onions, not too greasy either. The fries and the dipping sauce were just as good, the girlfriend got a wrap and fries, our drinks didn't stay empty long and it was a good atmosphere. Honestly I'm mad I didn't come here sooner. I will happily be coming back.

I used to work at the old Village Inn as a bartender/server and always hoped that someone would buy it and fix it up. It is such a great location. The new owners have done an amazing job rehabilitating this place! It is very clean and everything is so purposefully placed. The bar on the outside patio was an excellent decision! The ladies room is brand new, spotless, and has 3 stalls!!! It used to only have 1 and it was small. There is now a hostess stand which we never had but was definitely needed. There are so many great improvements and I am so impressed that I had to share! So far I've only had the pizza but it was very good and our server was awesome. I will definitely be back!!

I wasn't planning on leaving a review but unfortunately after reading a review that was posted about our table and how it was responded to by the owner makes me feel a little bit more upset. Starting off, our party of 6 had sat down and the 4/6 of us ordered alcohol. We never hesitated to show ID and the server looked them over. She then came back with our 2 waters and a Pepsi. She told us that her manager had looked over at us and requested her to grab our IDs and scan them to make sure they were real because we looked underage.... which is fine. The first issue was that our IDs were kept for well over 10-15 minutes with no straws or no waters offered for the other people in the group who have been waiting on their drink. What had irritated us is that if the manager on duty had noticed we looked underage, why did he not grab our IDs himself and/or apologize for the delay since they were in his possession for so long. One of the people in our party decided to see what was going on and while she was asking whoever was up there by the bar, someone walked past her and said "we're making sure they're real" with an attitude. We then finally got our drinks and placed our order 30 minutes after sitting down. We never "brushed her off." I ordered the pickle bread as an appetizer that ended up taking quite long. After waiting for our food that felt like forever, a party of 6 and another party sat down after we got there and ended up with their food well before us. Since it was taking so long we requested to speak with a manager and we let him know about our experience and not once did he apologize. All he did was explain why they needed to see the IDs and that a lot of fakes are going around and he used to know someone who made them. He said the server felt uncomfortable serving us because she thought they were fake which like I said earlier she blamed that on the manager. We weren't mad about our IDs needing to be scanned, we were mad about the inconvenience without an apology and how our food took longer then other tables with the same amount of people. At the end he said he was going to check on our food. He came back with the food and just dropped it off. No apology again even though we asked several times. We then requested the manager again because nothing was done about it. Also how could I forget that one of the hostess called me a "B**" for complaining and the 3 girls up front kept staring, talking bad, and rolling their eyes. We complained that the food took so long for the 2nd time and he stated that it the ticket was under 20 minutes which was not the case and it might've been a server error. We told him to check the cameras and he told us he didn't have access? We told him about the fact his employees were name calling and he was very defensive and believed his staff wouldn't do that. There was no attempt to fix the situation once so ever and I believe as a manager you should try your best to deescalate the situation and invite us back with some sort of compensation instead of just arguing. This is why us "teens" (who had alcohol at the table lol) were frustrated. Not just the server... the way the situation was handled by your manager. I will say the food was awesome even after the situation and I would love to go back if he would've apologized at least once before we had to...

We went to brunch on Sunday, September 24. Brunch started at 11:30. We got there at 12. We were handed a menu by the hostess. Waitress came over after about 15 minutes for our table of seven. Took our drink order. She came back after about 12 minutes with our drinks. And asked us what we wanted to order and when we started to tell her she said we couldn’t order off the menu as we had been given at the door. The hostess was supposed to give us the brunch. So finally, after that half hour, we were given the correct menu. We all had to take time to re-choose an item from the new menu. After about another 15 minutes, our waitress came back to get our menu choices. After another 10 minutes she had to come back and tell us that the French toast was sold out. They were only about five items on the brunch menu and two of them included French toast and they were already out of French toast an hour and a half after they opened for brunch??? so then a few of us had to re-order again third time. Once we finally did that I had asked for a warm-up on my coffee, which had not been warmed since it was poured over an hour previous to this, and I was told there were no more cups to put coffee in And she would have to take my cup and clean it and then put more coffee in it. I told her forget it. Not necessarily the waitresses fault on all of this however, she did not come back with coffee or ever asked us if we needed anything in between times. when we got there, they were only three tables. About a half an hour after we got there, there was a table of a baseball team or some thing that came in. This baseball team got their food and left before we left??? oh, yes, I had to go get my own sweeten low at the bar as nobody came back to my table. We finally got our food, but one plate was missing. I had to go and make another plate for the person who had not received their food yet. Once all of this was done, the food was not bad, it’s just that the service was so incredibly horrible and we received absolutely no apologies whatsoever . Can’t imagine going back...

Been trying to support local businesses. I was excited when this place opened again. We have many MANY great restaurants in this area. I am hoping my experience here was just bad timing. Food was decent but way too expensive for decent. Customer service was poor. I called in an order to go. Person taking the order seemed to not really understand what I was ordering and I was reading it right from the online menu. It was a weird conversation. It was about 4:30pm when I picked it up on the way home from work. 2 people at the counter weren't really interested in me so I asked where to pick up to go orders after standing there a few minutes without anyone saying anything. While I was checking out the person checking me out set the food on the counter and walked away. We were standing at a register and she started working at the other register at the other end of the counter. I mean they were sort of close but not close enough for me to assume what she was doing. It seemed kind of weird that she wouldn't say something like "I can finish your order at the other register" and then take the food down to it. So I picked up the food and went down to her as I said "oh, do we need to check out down there?" As we were checking out I asked her a question (can't remember what I asked) that she didn't know the answer to and she said she needed to ask a manger. Manager happened to be walking by so she asked and he blurted out "I don't know" and walked away. It was a weird vibe... kind of like "is it always like this here" vibe. Kind of a flippant attitude toward customers. But! I get it, maybe something happened just before I walked in. Like someone just made a joke about someone else's Mom that didn't go over well. I will give it another shot for the sake of supporting local... it...
