The male shift leader or manager with glasses and dreads on the evening of 20 February 2025 lied to me. And provided bad customer service. He instructed me to drive around the building and come inside to pick up my food. When I asked why I had to come inside. He told me it’s at the store’s discretion. All mobile orders and uber eats have to be picked up inside the store. So I told him he should have the app updated that this location isn’t taking drive through orders. Which he proceeded to lie about the mobile app being made by a third party, it’s not made or controlled by Wendy’s. And each Wendy’s operates differently. That he has no control over the mobile app.
My problem with this is it feels about 8 degrees outside. And I selected drive through pick up. Because of the weather and the fact that I have done mobile pick ups before at this exact location with the drive through before with no problems. Sometimes they hand it to you through the window. Sometimes they walk it to your car if the food isn’t ready and you have to wait extra time not to contest their drive through line.
Also the app is directly made by Wendy’s with a simple google search. I already called corporate about the complaint about the interaction. But I feel like complaining directly to the stores reviews should address the problems and concerns about the...
Read moreSooo much wrong with this place...they gave our kids someone's door dash order and even after our kids/our kids friends were digging around in the 2 bags eating fries, they took the bag back after realizing they gave us the wrong order. Gross because they still gave whomever poor soul who got doordash the handled food. What's worse is you KNOW kids definitely aren't usually the most cleanly picking their noses etc. Worse than that was how NASTY they treated us like it was our fault the kids had eaten out of the bag but we had 8 kids with us and had stopped to run inside to grab some fries etc. before leaving Dayton. I had got myself those honey bbq saucy nugs and they charged me extra/rang it up completely wrong so I paid 5 something for 4 nuggets.
I don't eat pork and I went through the drive-thru and ordered 2 different meals...one an English muffin with egg and cheese and the second their baconator breakfast sandwich. Literally both were wrong...they gave me two gross looking mayo filled sausage and egg croissants.
I called customer service to tell them how bad these experiences were and they were extremely rude and blew me off...of course not offering to change out the sandwiches. Overall...never get door dash from those places lol and hopefully they'll go out of...
I pulled up to the intercom at the drive-thru and sat there. Waiting every few minutes, I would say hello. Hello, is anyone there the fourth time? I said it, and the guy loudly yelled at me. I've been asking you. Can I take your order? But I never heard anybody. On the other end. I ordered 4 biggie bags and 4 drinks. While I was waiting he was hanging out the drive through window chatting with his friends in the car in front of me for I don't know 6 - 8 minutes maybe and I still had to wait for my food when I got up to the window. He handed me my 4 drinks and 2 bags of food and closed the window on me. I sat there and waited. He did not give me a receipt. I said, "Excuse me, excuse me. He told me to hold on and proceeded to take the order that he was taking.. when he opened the window. I asked for a receipt. I had to wait at least 90 seconds on that. I go to Wendy's all the time to feed the work crew. And they'd already been waiting. So I was a little aggravated when I asked him why he put the food in 2 bags. He was very rude about it.
