I met a guy for a first date here on a Sunday afternoon for the soul food buffet. Neither one of us was impressed with the food or the service. The hostess was very nice. The food was not made from scratch or fresh and the only season used was too much salt. The catfish was decent but lacked season, the mashed potatoes were instant, cabbage had no seasoning, sweet potatoes were canned and overly sweet lacking cinnamon, the cornbread tasted like jiffy. It was the service that really upset us. There was no clean silverware so we asked for some and the woman who brought literally threw it on the table unwrapped or on a napkin. Have you ever made the mistake of “tasting a lil bit”? Yeah, well, that turned into a full blown “pull-over in this parking lot and let’s partake of these blessings” meal. Someone in their kitchen has blessed hands. We had the pork chops. The meat was tender, the batter seasoned to perfection, and the flavor went through the meat. I highly recommend this place.

NEVER AGAIN…Tried to give us some support & got nothing but attitude in return. We ordered 6 dinners & the server at a HORRIBLE attitude. They were out of 3 things incl a meat but we weren’t advised till after we paid. Therefore, we had to change the orders during placement.
