Sleep Inn & Suites Bricktown - near Medical Center — Hotel in Oklahoma City

12/13/2024. COCKROACHES. I do not recommend staying here. We were staying here to be near and visit a family member in the OU Medical Hospital. It was a convenient location at an affordable price, the room appeared clean our first night. The beds, sheets, and pillows were very comfortable. Our first day at the hotel, I asked the front desk, Maria, if they had any complimentary toothpaste or body wash - like the sign said in my room. She opened a drawer next to the computer, shuffled around an empty plastic bag, and told me "no, sorry, we're all out".....But the deal breaker for me was when we woke up on our second morning to a cockroach climbed the wall behind my bed!!! Which I took a video of. I also found a small one in the bathroom sink! I notified the front desk, Maria again, and her response was "Ok, we'll send maintenance up". Then, while we frantically tried to pack and head to the front desk, I spotted a baby one crawling across the desk in my room!! I quickly caught it with a water cup and we rushed downstairs. The front desk attendant, Maria, did not seem frazzled or concerned at all. She said sorry then asked if we wanted another room to which I told her "finding roaches means they're all over the hotel". While we had this conversation she put the unsealed cup with the baby roach IN THE TRASH, for it to just climb back out again. She then asked if we wanted to checkout. YES we exclaimed. We couldn't get out of there fast enough. This was all extremely unfortunate, being so close to the hospital, the comfortable beds, the free shuttle service across bricktown, and the really delicious free breakfast was all fantastic! Easily could be 5 stars. But finding 3 roaches in one morning and basically being dismissed at the front desk, we simply could not stay any longer.

A few days later I filled out a survey recounting all of this with corporate. Their response, summed up, was "we apologize, we will notify management and we hope you'll consider staying with us again"....

The worst experience night of my life because of ya'll!!!!! I made reservations a few weeks ago, with an employee discount I was suppose to pay 96$ for 2 nights. I called to make sure that would be honored was told yes , I called to see what time the latest I could check in I was told 2am. I traveled from Kansas after work, a 5 hour drive. Right before I left town to head to okc I called your hotel again to let ya'll know I would be getting to the hotel about 1am I was told no problem I had till 4am to check in. I'm traveling with a 2 year old 17 year old a daughter with down syndrome I couldn't wait to get them in the room. When I tried to check in the lady told me she didn't have an Anna gomez checking in and hotel was sold out, I was getting notifications all day saying "your stay at the sleep inn blah blah blah " is tonight. I had a confirmation number 66773938, I had the email, I double checked I had the right place she said yes. Lady said sorry she doesn't have it she saw email confirmation everything that said my stay was confirmed I told her I called to let them know I would be there about 1am I got there at 1245 she said she knew nothing about it she had nothing under that confirmation name nothing!!!!! So here I am in a parking lot with my babies at 1 am with all these weirdos asking for a ride, money no one had vacancies we stayed in our car this man asked if he could take my daughter's to have some fun he kept begging for money I gave him 10$ to go away he told his friends and we left they through a rock at my car cracked it!!! We didn't get into a room till 1pm the girl at the comfort inn and suites gladly took us in with open arms nicest person I've ever met!!! I made reservations and communicated with you guys so stuff like this does not happen!!!! Just letting everyone else know so thus does not happen to anyone!!! Yall are liars, I just want to let people know who try to do the same thing to not take that chance with this hotel because I did and it...
