Blazing Jay creole destination — Restaurant in Oklahoma City

Omg!!! I’m not from Oklahoma, I was actually visiting my sister here. She and my brother inlaw referred me to blazinjs after I mentioned I hadn’t had any soulfood lately. Listen here, when I tell y’all the chicken soul bowl was amazing! There was so much food in that bowl I could only eat half the bowl. It was seasoned to perfection. I’m not a pork eater, so I was delighted to know that the greens had turkey meat in them instead of pork. I actually met the owner, he was sitting in his truck when I pulled up. When I tell y’all he is the most funniest and most welcoming person ever. 10 out of 10 I recommend. Not only was the food good but customer service was above and beyond my expectations. I personally told the owner if that bowl was good, I would let the world know. Well here u have it, I am pleased, and I will definitely have to do a food review on tiktok❤️May God Bless your company and most of all the cook ❤️❤️🥰 🙏🏽...

This was my first time trying blazing Jays and I think it's going to be my last I guess I came on a bad day because the boil did not look like what was advertised the eggs was hard and rubbery . the sausage tasted Like it was freezer burnt. The boil had sugar all on top of it was disgusting. They didn’t have bags. They overfilled my stuff and it spilt everywhere. I wasted $34! Do NOT go here if you want some good food! I talked to someone named TJ He was very unprofessional and did not help at all.. Definitely was not dressed like you should be at a restaurant ( slides with no socks on) He offered me a replacement but for two different meals saying “ Seafood boils aren’t cheap to make” Even though that’s why I paid for So I basically got scammed Again again, do NOT...

I don't think ive ever had a bad experiance with this place personally! I call in my order and I go get it after 15 minutes and I make sure i park in front where they can see me and i don't want very long each time

The workers have always been very kind to me, sometimes they even recognize my partner when he comes with me haha! Theyre so friendly.

On average I'd say I wait maybe no more than 10 minutes in the parking lot for my food including needing to pay, not bad to me at all.

And my favorite is the alfredo pasta on Saturdays! Absolutely their best dish in my opinion, it's on my tier list of favorite alfredo pasta dish places 😋 the flavors are so good and really hits the cravings just right.
