The Braum's I've been visiting for more than 20 years... Half a mile from my house... My granddaughter and I walked in the door this Saturday night at 10:02 pm.... no crowd at all...we waited a bit, 3-4 minutes, for attention at the ice-cream bar... A couple of young men, (14-15 year olds???), came in behind us.. The Ice Cream guy came over and made a single dip ice cream for my granddaughter and a double dip sundae for me... Now we are in line to pay..... waiting.... waiting.... waiting... my granddaughter's Ice cream is gone ... all but the cone.... A lady in front of us is ordering a massive order.... I guess.... So we wait.... Then a Braum's worker is next in line... she orders a couple of bags of burgers... and a bit of conversation.... as granddaughter and I wait.... I must have turned my head for a second and the kid behind me came around me and stepped past me and was checking out... I said, "Hold up.. we've been waiting quite awhile". I do not blame the kid... but the counter person could have said something... NEXT... or Sir, your next... Anyway... You guys ended up with my sundae running down the side of your counter.... A total accident... I was a bit tired of waiting and a bit frustrated buy this breach in etiquette, (line etiquette) and moved too quickly, the lid came off my sundae and I dropped it... I am so sorry... I apologize for the mess... i apologized to the folks there...They hardly made eye contact... I am surprised that I was then charged for the ice cream i dropped... Surprised that you didn't offer to replace it for me... The first customer ahead of me, (with the massive order), offered to buy me a new sundae... I didn't accept... I am surprised there was not a conversation about the ice cream... an apology for the wait.... an offer to not charge me or to remake my sundae... I know it was late on a Saturday night... your team was wanting to get out... but damn it to hell... I wanted that sundae. I paid for...

This Braums location was a nightmare. Today I went through the drive through with only one other car ahead of me and after placing my order was told to wait in the parking lot. After 10-15 minutes I was beginning to wonder what was going on. After 25 minutes I see other cars going through the drive through receiving their food and driving off. Bear in mind I ordered three things( Two burgers + fries and three drinks ). After thirty minutes I decide enough was enough so I go inside to see what’s going on. Upon entering I notice only 4 customers inside and a staff off teenagers that look no older than 20. I ask the cashier ( 17 yr old male) what the hold up was and he said they were super busy! I looked at him waiting for the joke just to see he was serious. Then after mentioning 4 other cars, among others received their food before I did, he then said I’m not sure. He then asked for my order and realized that they hadn’t even begun to make it yet! Moral of the story, maybe go to McDonald’s because obviously a simple order is to much work and you’ll end up having to wait in the parking lot wondering if you’ll ever enjoy your meal. Totally unacceptable and will be taking my business elsewhere...
Read morePretty dang sad overall. I spent 15 minutes waiting to get into the bathroom so that I could wash my hands before ordering. The tweaker that walked out of the bathroom had definitely not been using the bathroom. After I washed my hands I proceeded do the ice cream counter where I stared at 9 employees gathered in the kitchen having a conversation. I waited a few minutes watching them go in and out of the store having conversations between one another before one of them finally walked over and asked if I needed anything. I explained to her that I would like a regular size Reese's mix. She proceeded to make it and delivered it to the counter with ice cream coating the exterior of the cup. When I asked for a cup to put my cup inside of she charged me $0.60 for the cup. After a few minutes of watching her attempt to make change for my purchase she delivered $0.25 short. I decided not to say anything. Upon exiting the store I noticed that the manager was huddling with employees outside to enjoy a couple of cigarettes.
