Although the meal was pretty good. The experience this time made me uneasy to a point where I don't feel safe in this establishment. My husband, his friend and I were eating there for the surf and turf in which I enjoy.. when my husband was asked to turn out his wrists for 3 cops that were undoubtedly looking for someone of color. Every black male on our side (because that's all I could see) was asked to show their wrists. One guy had to show his I.D. in which he wasn't the required to do. This is unacceptable. I am just now writing this review due to the fact that I needed to have a level head when writing it. I am 100% sure these cops could have looked at the camera to see who they were looking for instead of impeding on someone's dinner and personal space. I am beyond pissed that this was even allowed to happen by the management staff at the Brewery. I would like to file a complaint against this but I didn't get the officers names or badge numbers. Not to mention that upon us walking out the door of the Casino one of the officers said they were anxious to tase someone. How do you become comfortable going back to a place that allow such behavior to happen. And with No apology for profiling these individuals. I am at a loss for words and appalled at the disrespect. I am thinking long and hard about returning here...
Read moreWent last night for a Christmas party. We had a table of 9. We were informed automatic gratuity was to be added to our bills. We were ok with that, however the service was lacking. We felt like everyone else around us was being attended to more expedient than us. We got 2 small platters of shrimp to share for our whole table, refills on drinks were hard to come by and it was an act of congress to get some horseradish for our prime rib. The only thing they kept up on was cold soggy crab legs. Tbe waitress was making so many excuses for everything. She said they had to stop seating people because the food was getting so far behind. We have been there on numerous occasions, where it has been packed and they have never ran out of food. I fell like the waitress didnt care to do a good job because she would be getting her tip. They advertise 28.95 for the meal with card. Our bill was 87.00 for 2 with all tbat gratuity. Not worth it. I did win 500.00 on the machines after and that made up for it. I forgot to add, we were cracking legs open that had zero meat in them. We showed the waitress and she said that a lot of customers had been complaining g about that. Just ridiculous for the price!update Manager never got back to me. I emailed and left number and have never...
Read moreThere are two vegan options: a veggie black bean burger (hold the thousand island sauce) and a fried chickpea salad (hold the feta). They were out of the veggie burger.
The chickpea salad hardly had any chickpeas on it, and very few red peppers and cucumbers (despite me asking for extra). When you make a salad, you have to load up on the protein and fibrous ingredients so it's a meal that is actually filling. The balsamic vinagerette it came with was not flavorful. It tasted very watered down.
Of the restaurants at Remington, this seemed like the best option to eat vegan after looking at menus. Was not satisfied at all! Im continually frustrated by the idea that by going to a restaurant in OK, you have to eat fried, greasy, animal products.
Bicktown Brewery should offer the Impossible burger or a chickpea burger in addition to the black bean patty and they should keep enough on hand not to run out! They should also educate staff on ingredients and allergies. We asked for vegan options, exposing to our server this ment no animal products, and our server mentioned the turkey burger and then said "but that's probably an animal."
But our server was very nice and did the...
