Service - 0/5 It was amazing how terrible this was. We had a reservation that we setup via OpenTable. When we arrived, they said that there is a $10 minimum per person (with their prices, I am not really sure how you wouldnt spend $10). Once we were seated, it was about 15 minutes before we were served drinks (note that we were the only people here at this time. It was 5pm on a Saturday and they opened at 5pm). When we got our drinks, we ordered our appetizers (which took about another 15 minutes to get). We finished the appetizers and 10 minutes after being finished with them, we were asked if we were ready to order an entree (we had put the menus up well before ordering the appetizers). We ordered the entree and it took 15-20 minutes to receive. Once we finished the the entree we waited over 30 minutes to receive a check. We had to flag down someone else that worked their to get a check for us since we had been there about 2 hours and only had 2 appetizers and 2 entrees.
Since this place allows for smoking, we asked if we could get an ashtray (since there was not one at the table). it took 20 minutes for them to bring one to the table.
Food - 1/5 The food was nothing impressive at all. The plate presentation of the food did look good, but the taste was very lacking. We ordered the crab cake and ruben rolls for an appetizer. The crab cake was just a small pile of crab meat. There was no discernible seasoning to it. just some crab. The ruben rolls were actually pretty good. It was 2 eggrolls cut in half (4 pieces) that were filled with the ingredients of a ruben sandwich.
For the entrees, we ordered a ribeye steak and salmon. The steak was ordered as medium rare, and I have had rare steaks much more cooked than this was. The outside of the edge of the steak was a medium rare, while the inside was practically raw. there was also no seasoning to it at all. All I could taste was the butter that they put on it. The salmon was the same situation. I dont believe that any seasoning was used other than the butter that was on the top.
Price - 0/5 The price was that of fine dining, but the quality and service did not even close to compare to that. The only thing that actually tasted decent was the ruben rolls, and they were $9 for 2 eggrolls. They also charged $1.75 for soda, when it is free at the casino right outside of the restaurant. The total was about $75 for 2 people and I have had $30 meals that I was much...
Read moreWe came in for my sons birthday dinner around 5 PM on a Sunday. There wasn’t anyone at the host stand. There were 2 girls sitting at a table nearby. One of them reluctantly got up greeted and seated us. Our server arrives and I tell her I had purchased a restaurant coupon. She asked me to show her so I pull it up on my phone. She looks at it and asks if I’m aware that I have to spend double the amount of the coupon? I tell her yes. We order drinks and four appetizers. She said she thought they were out of the shrimp sliders. She went and asked and came back and said no it wasn’t the sliders they were out of. It was the brisket rolls that they were out of. So we ordered a different appetizer. The Margarita was okay and the appetizers were very good. We get our food. We were not given steak knives and were not offered any steak sauce. So, not sure if they have those. My son loved his food and his girlfriend loved hers. However my steak was over cooked. I took maybe 2 bites. Not once did our waitress ask how was the food? Was it cooked to our satisfaction? In fact she didn’t come back to our table for quite awhile. My sons Dr. Pepper sat empty. My son’s girlfriend’s water sat empty as did my Margarita glass. She never asked if I wanted another drink and never questioned why I wasn’t eating my dinner. When she comes to the table, I ask her to see what my tab is up to so I could order desserts. She tells me the kitchen is closed. We look at our phone it’s 6:22. I tell her we didn’t even reach the limit for the use of the coupon yet. She says yeah I’m sure you have. Leaves, comes back with the receipt and then she realizes no I haven’t reached the limit. She leaves to see what she can do. Comes back brings me a new check and tells me the manager could make the check reach the limit by adding her gratuity to the tab as a fee. I look at the check and it’s a $59 fee! Are you kidding me? I have worked in the club/restaurant industry for 20 plus years. I have multiple family members who own clubs/ restaurants. One of which I currently work at. I ALWAYS tip way more than I should! But an over 40% tip? That was the managers solution? I declined the offer paid my $144 tab and still left my waitress a $28 tip. She didn’t even say anything when I mentioned my son didn’t even get to eat cake for his birthday. Satisfied customer? That...
Read moreWent to the track for the $30 dinner special with my fiancee and mother. They called us ahead of time telling us that our 8:30pm reservation was to late and to come earlier if possible because the kitchen closes at 9:00. We arrived around 8:00 and the place was dead... maybe ten other people. They showed us to our table and we had to ask for the special menu. We ordered two of the $30 person specials and deserts. The food came pretty quickly but not all at once, the appetizers right before our food but not long enough for us to eat them, which was good because they were extremely bland. Next my fiancee and I got our food while my mother waited on hers. And waited, and waited and waited and finally got her food. Again the food was BLAND. Next we had to ask about betting vouchers, the meals are suppose to come with $10 in betting cash. Half way through dinner and two requests later we got them. Also the waitress never refilled our drinks, she just left a pitcher of water and walked away, good thing too because the food had to be washed down it was so bad. Finally 3 hours later we get the check and are told, "Sorry, we can't get desert the kitchen is closed." I was upset about deserts we had ordered 3 hours before and been waiting on for over an hour. I became pissed when I looked at the check, they had charged us FULL price for our meals and deserts we never got. When I told the waitress she changed our bill. Not to the $30x2+1.75 for drinks but to $68 and told us, "that's just how it rings up." When I asked for the manager I was told he'd gone home and when I called back the next day he was "Not available." Now it's Saturday, I have had diarrhea since and the manager still is not available. Another patron suggested we try the bar downstairs next time, honestly though I'm going to avoid this place...
