Classics Bar & Grill — Restaurant in Oklahoma City

Who would think I’d do a review of a spot like this….I was hesitant to walk inside…my friend was brave and walked in first and I followed suit. This spot will NOT be for everyone, but it depends if you’re an individual that can get down with any type of place and environment. Now I’m from Dallas and a place like this is what we’d call a hole in a wall. A place that’s not well known, yet a fun and exciting place that’s always welcoming and cool. They had apple pie shots for $3, it cannot get any better than that. I thought the shot tasted good and I usually HATE shots and do not partake in shots. However, my friend ordered us some and already paid, so I went ahead and took it. It was delicious and actually tasted like an apple cinnamon shot. We’re actually chatting about when we’re coming back for the bar and to play pool. The environment is not top notch or the best, hence the 3 stars. But if you’re a chameleon and can get down no matter the atmosphere, then why not try this spot for affordable drinks and pool? I thought the sign outside was funny btw here’s the photo of it. Classics Bar and Grill is hands-down one of Oklahoma City’s hidden gems! From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted with warm, friendly smiles that make you feel like a regular—even if it’s your first visit. This place is great because of Trey. He's an outstanding bartender who makes his drinks really well, he doesn't skimp when he doesn't over poor. He's a preferred bartender there, not saying Justin isn't any good, Justin just isn't that sociable. The regulars that hang out there like Mike, fireman bill, and Sean really make this place a place worth going. The demographic is good to I have yet to see anyone that has it been accepted in there, from the shadiest to criminals to the most light-hearted nerds and bookings and stuff like that, they all get along and it's great!
