Denny's — Restaurant in Oklahoma City

So Aug 14th at 5:45am we were hungry Leslie and I and so we went to Denny's. So we got their sit down we were going to share a meal together and we're getting into your dinner because there is five of them and then we could possibly get it full aren't for a little bit and then just sit there and talk for a little bit, world richest comes over I told her that we were going to share platter and everything and she went and put in the order got our drinks and then she realized who was with me Miss Leslie and from that moment forward I literally felt like a ghost the rest of the whole meal together terrible because it just got worse... When she came back to the table she had asked Leslie and she would like the pancake meal and she don't have to pay for it... So our meals meals come out after that and she literally waited hand and foot on his Leslie and Leslie did not like any of this just to let you know.. so I'm sitting there and I told Leslie I feel like A ghost from that point forward.. we were eating we got done I had waved the waitress down in Leslie at the time is still eating so I told her that the waitress please bring me a to go platter and some barbecue sauce.. this is where it gets good, so so what she really did was she went and got Leslie had to go home package she got the except the figures in and a bag and something for her bananas!!!! So I had to ask her well since I asked for them do I get one and I am paying remember... She knew that we were tight with money we told her and I said how much you know I had $15 I ended up getting $4 back from that whole meal and so she brought me the container in the smallest barbecue sauce you. Should I put on my step up I said well you didn't bring me a bag can I get a bag so she went back there again she didn't even grab the bag because I think she was pissed off or not even listening so I said can I please get that bag yes I got that bag for sure thrown at me so l just got up and carried my food out, she said and now ur not going to use it.. and I told her no not at you threw it at me. I said I don't so uncomfortable since the moment I walked in here and you notice that this is Miss Leslie and you gave her a full free meal and you said at least I gave you your barbecue sauce for free I didn't know a barbecue sauce taken at home was 99 cents in the first place. We left and Leslie felt terrible because I invited her and she felt terrible and she said that she would have felt the same damn way if if the roles were turned and it was her feeling that way.... I will never go to that particular Denise and saying it's right there ever again I might get it to go but and that's only because they have that's the only thing around here that in McDonald's. So when I started ordering the platter I said is there any way you could tell the boss or whoever to put a whole bunch of french fries on this one so we can share them. I was trying to just making a funny but I was being kind of for real so we could get full and share it that's what our plan was.. and then she has Leslie if she wanted her own plate and pancakes she said I guess so we got a little bitty pile maybe 15 french fries in that in that meal. Chicken shirts for a little burnt and the french fries we had 15 I might get it 17 maybe... So yeah I feel sorry for Leslie maybe next time we go...

It's Dennys. You either get good service or you don't. It's like the the luck of the draw. I mean the server is usually very nice. But getting food takes forever. Getting refills on soda or coffee is like forever to get. Then sometime you gotta flag down another server if there is one for a refill. If you go here, be prepared to wait for a while. They usually only have 1 or 2 servers and sometimes the manager helps take orders. Heck I've even seen the Manger cooling food. They make way too many small mistakes. Using the wrong bread for sandwiches. Missing sides. My mom got the pot roast. They brought the roast and only potatoes and drowned in gravy. It looked like the great flood of gravy. There were no veggies in it. The server said were out of the veggie for the pot roast. And still brought it to the table. Why??? I would think common sense would be go ask your customer if they want it still. Then the manager get attitude when it's sent back. There's some blad short guy there. The lady manager was way better and food was good and came out quick even if the house is packed. I asked for the club sandwich on the artisan bread. I specifically said no grain bread. I don't like it. They brought to me wrong, the avocado was hard as a rock and still tasted green and the ham was all Grey looking. Glad I spit it out. And they brought it with the grain bread when I specifically said the artisan bread please. I told them I don't like the grained bread. It's got little bits of grains and nuts in it. It's a texture thing. I don't like it. Second you gave me not ripe avocado that's hard as a rock, and you put Grey looking meat that could've gave me food poisoning. Sent it back. The manager comes over with an attitude. What's the problem? We explained kindly..because I'm nit going to be blamed for being a nasty Karen over food. We kindly said the food has all been brought out wrong. Hard avocado and I showed him.the meat. He asked if we wanted it remade. Ummm No thank you. When a cook royaly messes up a whole table of food, no we don't want it remade. But we're happy to pay for the drinks since we drank them. I loved going here. And I didn't mind the wait because the servers were nice. But now with the new manager and cook. No thanks. Dennys gets a negative 5 stars. And to top it off there's a hotel right next door with vagrants and ladies of the night. Thyere usually fighting or pestering guests for money or cigarettes. Not a good look. No one wants to be harassed in the...

We ordered two club sandwiches, and one super bird. The club sandwiches are supposed to have three slices of toasted white bread and 4 and 1/2 teaspoons of mayonnaise among other things. Instead we had two slices of whole wheat grain bread not toasted and no mayonnaise at all. I ordered the Super Bird. I have eaten the super bird since 1980 every time I go to Dennys. It's supposed to be on sourdough bread that is lightly toasted. It's supposed to have two slices of Swiss cheese and two slices of bacon. The turkey on the Superbird is supposed to be grilled. This one was not. There was no swiss cheese and there was only one slice of bacon. Those sandwiches supposed to be sort of warm because it's grilled after assembled and this sandwich was ice cold. To top it off the bread was white bread not sour dough. Both sandwiches are supposed to come with french fries and pickles. We did get the french fries on all three sandwiches but we did not get the pickle. All of the sandwiches are between 9.50 and 10.50 and out ticket was $43.00. We went there because my son had gone there at 5 this morning to get the Grand Slam breakfast. The doors were open but he was told that there was no service and that he'd have to leave without any explanation why there was no service. At the very least the door should have been locked with sign saying cleaning or something so he went in to complain which I'm doing now. Needless to say we're not going back. Is sad because I know 10 people my son knows 10 people my oldest grandson knows 10 people so I'm anticipating a lot of people who might have gone to Denny won't. Or at least that...
