El-7 Mares Restaurant — Restaurant in Oklahoma City

Everything went wrong on the visit today. Started off with a dirty water cup that had lettuce in it. Service was horrible couldnt get a refill without having to walk up and ask . My wifes food came out, hers was a shrimp plate it probably has atleast 30 shrimp mine came out it was a diablo shrimp plate it had about 7 shrimp , my sides were completely wrong and the quanity of the food didn't match the $18.00 price for a plate of food. Ended up sending my plate back got my wifes food to go .

If you like this place you better get your fill for it while its here because with the reviews on service and the employees eating in the back I wouldn't plan on it being here very long. Won't ...

The Mexican seafood is amazing at El-7. The restaurant smells good. It has authentic Mexico vibes, and you can tell by the type of customers that eat there that this place is authentic. Their fish and shrimp smelled and tasted very fresh. There were no rancid seafood smells in the restaurant. They provided free chips and cheese. I recommend trying their fish and shrimp plate that comes with salad and white rice($18). Also, I recommend trying their shrimp stuffed chilis($13). I will return to El-7

The only con El-7 has is that they charge you for water. Why give free chips, cheese, and salsa and then...

We went today Sunday Sept 26th the service was horrible, it took 10 minutes for them to come to our table. Appetizers were ordered and only brought for one person. Aftervwaiting 30 minutes they brought the other appetizer. When asked for an explanation the waiter said he is not the cook. Needless to say, we canceled the rest of the order, paid and left. An apology was never expressed. 7 Mares if you do not have enough staff, do not fill your restaurant to its capacity. I would much rather be told there is a wait time than have to experience your...
