I hadn't been here in over 25 years and truly believe they haven't changed a thing. Same booths, wall art, owner and menu. Price is reasonable, you're almost guaranteed to have leftovers, and the flavor is pretty much like all other Chinese restaurants in Oklahoma. Went for an early dinner and happy to see a broad swath of diners: older couple who've been coming for decades, young family getting what appeared to be everything on the menu - even 2nd generation patrons who knew everyone by name. Yes, there are restaurants with better decors and flavors. Yes, it isn't a place you'd take someone to impress. Yes, it's by all definition a true hole in the wall. But that's what makes it special, nostalgic and downright charming in our cookie cutter world.

This place is now our go-to. It’s small and inconspicuous but out of this world. The people are so friendly! Sweet and sour pork is a favorite dish of mine and this is the best I have ever had! The egg drop soup was also fantastic. My kids and partner had beef lo mein, broccoli beef, and sesame chicken and everyone was happy with what they got. This is a bit further from our house and after we left our kids said “I would walk here if I had to.” Also, I was so glad with how clean they are and they were wearing masks. It’s very comforting to eat somewhere that obviously takes health seriously.

The definition of a hole in the wall with amazing homemade cooking. I had the Hawaiian guy and the breading on the chicken was like no there breading at another Chinese food place. The rice was simple and perfect. The egg rolls and homemade sauce were out of this world. It's very nice and quiet and the owner wife is super sweet and attentive. Would totally recommend and will be adding this to our faves.

Was searching for Chinese food near to where a relative lives and thought this sounded promising. As I approached the restaurant, it struck me as suddenly familiar. Nearly 30 years ago, my grandmother lived just a few blocks away and we would often pass this spot. This restaurant has been in the same location since 1971. Fifty years of history. The opulence of red lacquer and the exoticism of the cuisine slightly faded through the decades. The inside of the restaurant does not seem to have been meaningfully updated in that time - which I absolutely loved. It seems as though the recipes have also remained largely unchanged as their preparation of the dishes we tried (egg drop soup, egg rolls, sweet and sour pork, chicken chow mein, and egg foo young) seemed somehow “vintage”. No candy-red sweet and sour sauce, and no overly thickened egg drop soup. Perhaps it was all prepared from scratch. Also, the waitress greeted everyone within earshot of our table by name and left them with a “see you next week”. I think this is a truly special restaurant best appreciated by...

This place was highly suggested by several Facebook posters when I asked for recommendations so we tried it.... It was easy to find and, as we were warned, it is a little rough looking on the outside plus; the neighborhood is a little downtrodden however; it seemed safe. We ordered egg rolls because they were highly recommended. My husband & my daughter loved them, but I didn't really care for them however; I'm more of a Spring Roll person....I don't care for a lot of fried dough around egg rolls. My favorite egg rolls are still from "DKone", in Ft. Smith, AR. (They are tight, thin and super crispy with an amazing flavor) Anyway, I did like my hot tea; which was served with lemon slices and our server was a really nice, soft spoken lady that shared the history of the restaurant with us. She was awesome! Hubby & I ordered the dinner for two that includes Chicken Chow Mein, Sweet & Sour Pork, Egg Drop Soup and we ordered the steamed rice. Our daughter had Sweet & Sour Shrimp with fried rice. Everything was very nasty! We look forward to returning and trying other...

Edit to reflect recent restaurant changes

Well this is sadly disappointing to see and hear about the complete change Canton has done. This is no longer a Chinese restaurant is it some kind of Cajun seafood place now. This is terribly disappointing!! The new menu is just seafood and chicken strips etc... not even close to Chinese food! Just another place filled will fried stuff you could purchase at a local low end gas station! When they closed for the holiday who knew they'd never be back as the same place???!!! This is sad! Canton has been a staple in my family for years! We won't ever be back to a place like this. Just pure sadness and disappointment!!

Best food ever!! This place is amazing! The food is delicious and the people who work there are friendly!! This is my favorite restaurant and I would eat here every day if I could!! And make sure you add their sweet and sour sauce and hot mustard to the egg rolls! I really cant get enough...
