During my first experience at Empire I was under the impression it was owned and operated by the Dark Lord of the Sith. After further investigation I found out that was not the case. Unlike storm troopers these guys don’t miss. Simply put this place took two concepts and fused them together, being on shrooms and making great pizza. The result is wild recipes that will make you trip balls with every bite. Bonus points if you show up in November and get to experience the thanksgiving pizza. Seriously wild recipes, insanely great pizza. Super chill people with a really cool atmosphere. The inside of this place is what I imagine Alice in wonderland would have looked like if it took place in Austin Texas. Unlike your teenagers report card empire will not disappoint you. They are open until 11pm even on weeknights. This comes in handy when your wife doesn’t really want you to come home but you can’t be smelling like the bar because she will think you are a bastard and a cheater and then you will have to spend three weeks on the couch at Chad’s house again. I can’t guarantee empire will keep you off the couch but I can guarantee you’ll be a lot happier sleeping there after your belly is full of weird delicious pizza. You only lose if you don’t go. A place this good will make you wonder if Anakin really was the good guy. Eat here.

Overview: 5/5 Eureka !! A true New York Style pizza outside of New York. Anyone who knows this New Yorker knows I am a pizza snob. This is a definite 5 star review. Ambiance : 5/5 Very Cool eclectic atmosphere with chill music. Everywhere you looked there were posters plastered all over the walls, TV’s, old music billboards ranging from Johnny Cash to Pink Floyd. Lots of indoor and outdoor seating for large and small parties. Food/Drink 5/5 Spectacular!! we got a traditional NY Style pizza with pepperoni (extra crispy) and a Fungus Among Us pizza. They are large 20” pies. The NY Style was truly the closest and best “New York” style pie I’ve gotten outside NYC. The Fungus Among Us was also equally good. It had plenty of mushroom and the flavor was delicious. It wasn’t runny or watery as some mushroom pies can be soggy. It was crispy and very flavorful. Service : 5/5 Caleb our server was so pleasant, helpful and gave us great local recommendations. He was by far one of the best servers I’ve ever had throughout my foodie adventures. Ask for him when you go. Conclusion : AWESOME and 5 stars across the board. I don’t give that high a rating out in all categories often. This one deserves it and we will be back. “Live Free and Pie Hard” Foodies !

My daughter took me here last night to celebrate my birthday. It was alright. Was it the best pizza I ever had? No. Would I drive across town to specifically go here? Also no. But my daughter & her friends love the place so 🤷♀️ Cool decor & building. Wait staff was good. We started with an order of garlic knots. They were good. You can do pizza by the slice or order an entire pie. Pizza by the slice is offered only certain kinds per day so check their website or social media to see what flavor is available when you plan on going. Last night I ate the pepperoni & I took a Fat Tony home for lunch today. They were good. If you like to eat cold pizza this is not the place to do that from because today I tried that with the Fat Tony and it was hard but it was still good when heated up. Marked it off my places to try but I wasn’t that impressed so I won’t be back but others love it so I encourage others to give it a try🍕

This is a perfect pizza shop! It’s open until midnight and has specialty slices everyday. The staff is so friendly and helpful. I kept it simple with a slice of pepperoni. I would definitely eat here again and come with a group. The restaurant has a great atmosphere. There is plenty of outdoor seating that is always shaded and available even if it rains. The location is great too. They have a bar and a few booths to sit at. The kitchen is mostly open and it allows you to see what’s really going on. There are plenty of servers and hosts to guide you through your eating experience. I got my order within 5 minutes at the most. You even get a text when your order is ready. I hope my phone number isn’t shared. It’s worth stopping here to eat. Oh! And the price is very reasonable. Get the pink sauce; it’s great with the crust. I’ll have to stop here again so I can get a picture of my food before I eat it. 🍕🍕

I. Cannot. Get. Over. How. Good. Empire. Is. If you like pizza, you will love this place. Honestly. I’m not huge on pizza and I’m obsessed. They’re in the Plaza in this chill building with punk vibes, but they’re getting ready to move locations (just down the street). Anyways, back to the pizza. It’s so good! You can order by the slice or get a whole pie. The slices are HUGE, and they rotate the selection every day (you can look at their website to see what the day’s slices are). They have your typical cheese and pepperoni, but if you come here please venture past that. It’s worth it! They have so many interesting flavour combinations. My personal favorite is Fungus Among Us which is cremini and shiitake mushrooms, spinach, and truffle oil. It’s mouth watering! It’s almost like a New York-style pizza - thin crust (but still so crispy!). Definitely try this place.

Empire is a great surprise! We are driving cross country, stopped to go to another restaurant but the wait was way too long. We walked around and came upon Empire at the end of the street, check out what it is, and went in. The atmosphere is busy amd a bit loud but that seems to be what they want so it's expected. Our server, Jason N., was personable, attentive, and nice. AND, I had a slice of cheese and a slIce of Doug E. Fresh which were both DELICIOUS. I love pizza and this was yummy. I ordered the Ranch and Pink sauces - if you like Ranch DO IT! Why? I cook enough to know when something is housemade and that Ranch IS housemade. *Best thing is the ability to order slices, a whole pie, or both. And, it's neat that they have the daily slices typed out. I wish there was an Empire where I live!
