It was okay. The food was just okay in my opinion. I've been nearly everywhere. They are also a couple dollars more than most other places. Guac tasted like tomatoes and onions only. Rest of the set up was decent. The shrimp in lime juices..the shrimp came out still too raw to consume and needed to sit and cook longer. Guess that goes more to preference. I got 2 meals, nachos and shrimp, and asked for 2 horchatas to go when was paying. Total was 40 before tip, what bothered me the most was the horchatas were placed in small to go cups and I still got charged 3.50 each. Like everywhere puts them in extra large red cups dining in or large to go cups. So over priced just okay food, and cheap on to go drinks. I'll mark this place off my list...

I, and my travel companion & colleague as well, was very dissatisfied with this restaurant. We stopped around 11am hoping to get some breakfast tacos but struggled to convey what we wanted in both English and Spanish. In his best efforts to not tell us they don't sell breakfast tacos so we wouldn't leave they kept offering to put a fried egg on our tacos. Realizing this, coupled with our schedule, we decided to just order lunch and we were both severely disappointed. My corn tortillas were under cooked and too greasy, the nacho cheese was extremely disappointing. It was less like cheese and more like soupy cheese flavored gelatin. My colleague had rumble belly for a while after eating only part of his Burrīto.

I don't suggest...

So, I was heading to El Buen Gusto restaurant to get some papusas but they were closed. I was hungry and I drove all the way from the NW side so I decided to sit and eat here. The menu had so many items I didn’t really know where to look but being that I had my mind set in getting papusas, I decided to get fish tacos, something I know. The food was at best, “good” in my opinion. This could be because I didn’t really expect to eat there. Nonetheless, my waitress was super nice and attentive. My food was hot, I loved the atmosphere. The cheese sauce and salsa were very watered down with almost no flavor, rice was under cooked, tortilla on the enchiladas was under cooked, the chicken was rubbery and weird, and it smelled of sewer heavy at the front door and slightly through the rest of the restaurant. Close to finishing my plate, I found a bug in my rice. This place used to be a huge favorite of mine since a kid. But I won't be back after this.

This has been a favorite place for us for many years. True Tex-Mex, always fresh, family owned and operated. Every time we dine here is delicious. This day we had fajitas, carne asada, grilled tomatoes and all the fixings! Highly Recommend and always great!
