My fiance and I decided to go here for our Valentine’s Day dinner. We were so excited because we had heard so many great things about the food as well as the view. The food was average and lukewarm. The server forgot about my cocktail for the first 30 mins until our food had come out and never brought it. He never refilled our waters and we had to ask about refills for my fiances Dr Pepper. I was already hesitant about coming back but that was made definite when we were leaving. As we were leaving a group of 4 people, 2 couples came in and they asked for table for four. The hostess proceeded to say they couldn’t take them because they had a two hour wait. It was 7:30 and she proceeded to say that by the time they could get in they wouldn’t be able to serve them. Mind you, English wasn’t the first language of the group and they were completely taken advantage of. No one was in the lobby waiting for a table. There were MAYBE 5 or 6 tables that had people at them with people eating. They turned away easily a $200 bill. Absolutely ridiculous. From my view, it looked like racism and taking advantage of people who do not speak fluent English. I looked on open table as we were leaving to see if they had any reservations available for the rest of the night and they did. They had multiple reservations still open. Absolutely ridiculous and they took advantage of four people not being fluent in English. Do not waste your money or time here. Slow service and even worse hospitality. Expensive for low quality food and bad atmosphere. The only good thing about this experience was the view of...
Read moreI visited recently for a lunch meeting in the Private Dining room. The service and food were great and nothing beats that view of the lake!
To start off we ordered the Crispy Calamari as well as the Baltimore Crab Dip for appetizers. They were excellent! We normally get the Spinach and Artichoke Dip, which is also a great choice.
Our group ordered several entrees, which we were pleased all came out at the same time. I ordered a Caesar Salad and the Andrew’s Coconut Shrimp. The serving size was very generous and the taste and temperature were perfect. Someone else ordered the same dish with different sides and unfortunately our dishes were mixed up and didn’t come to us correctly. My side never arrived but it wasn’t worth the hassle to correct during our meeting.
We did not order dessert this time but I always recommend the Key Lime Pie. It’s an excellent favorite and always nice to bring back to your office to share a bite!
There’s a large TV in the room that connects wirelessly to your device, which is very convenient to have available. We had some issues maintaining a connection during the meeting. I always recommend having a backup option.
We go back to this restaurant frequently for the great food and service we have come...
Read moreThe service was great, very attentive. We made a reservation and were seated immediately. The ambiance was nice—suitable for a date but also family friendly. The live jazz band was fun and made our meal feel more special. My issue was with the food and pricing for the quality. We had the calamari app for $17 and the portion seemed small for the price, but the flavor was okay. I ordered the pork chop. I asked for medium, but it was definitely well done. The vegetables that came on the side were hardly steamed, very al dente, and under seasoned. Had to add lots of salt. We also ordered the kids pasta—it was plain pasta with a sprinkling of cheese. It didn’t even taste like it had butter and there was not enough cheese to add to the flavor. Once again had to add lots of salt (and ketchup). Not nearly worth $7. We also ordered the kids cheeseburger, and it was disappointing and not worth $9. The patty was small, even for a kid’s size, and dry/overcooked. The best meal at our table was the lobster roll. Unfortunately I would not recommend this restaurant, because for what we spent at dinner, we should not have left feeling unsatisfied. We decided to get...
