The only reason I'm giving this rating because of the attitudes involved with the management and the staff. I was given a drink by a server who just placed it on my table and walked off without commentary. I started drinking it because I thought oh maybe somebody at my table ordered it for me and then found out that nobody at my table ordered it for me. It wasn't alcoholic drink which I found out later after I asked the waiter who was a different server then the server who plays it on my table. I did not order an alcoholic drink from our normal waiter. So when he came back around I asked him what was actually in the drink and he told me tequila grapefruit juice and some other things and that was the moment that I realized oh it's alcoholic cuz I couldn't take it anymore. Everything was fine until the bill came. He added the charge for the drink which was $10. I politely asked him why I was charged for the drink? He then said it was because you drank the drink and I said oh I just assumed that a guy had bought me the drink because that is an old school way of flirting and it happens sometimes. It happened to me actually at a bar before. And then I asked him when did you realize that I had the wrong drink and he said oh well when you drank half of it and I said so why didn't you come and tell me that hey you have the wrong drink and then take the drink away from me. He said because you drank it. You cannot charge people for things unless you actually have a conversation with them about them ordering the drink or something. There are two problems here health wise... YOU CANNOT SERVE ALCOHOL TO PEOPLE WITHOUT ID'ING THEM. YOU CANNOT GIVE A DRINK TO PEOPLE WITHOUT THEM KNOWING WHAT'S IN IT.. PEOPLE ARE ALLERGIC TO DIFFERENT THINGS.. I couldn't have the conversation with the waiter anymore because once he said I charged you for it because you drank it I just wanted to go to the manager. There were two managers that came. One blonde lady who was Caucasian and another one who was a male asian. Right off the bat the white blonde lady looked as though she didn't want to hear me. Got an attitude and was like well he is taking it off. I'm a little older I'm like 43 years old and I just noticed that there's certain things in our society that have fallen to the waist side especially communication. Before I could actually continue on with the story the server who was standing there walked off which should be considered insubordination. I was not getting an attitude and I did not get an attitude. There was no reason for him to walk away. His young ego got hurt because he made a mistake.. This younger generation is very fragile. You have to teach your servers to communicate even when there is an error; especially when there's an error. It could cost you your ABLE license. The manager then said well people can eyeball if they think somebody's over 21 and I said yes that is the case if somebody actually orders an alcoholic drink which I did not. So that does not apply in this situation. The Asian male seems more receptive and was kind and said okay thank you. I was only going to them to so that they could train their staff better. This location has servers working together. And they need to all be aware. Server who actually placed the drink on my table never said here is your drink ma'am never said anything and just walked away. That should never happen. I could have told her that I didn't order a drink at that moment and it would've saved me from being charged. Egos got in the way of GOOD SERVICE. the food was good but that...

I usually don't put reviews for my own reasons . But for this one it was a must I thought. I am trying to figure out the reason why we were treated the way we were, was it our ethnicity / color or we just chose the wrong evening. ( I am not apologetic about this strong statement because I am really feeling humiliated after paying $70 for this meal and service) My family and I were visiting OKC and based on the ratings we read online ,we came here in spite of the fact that it was out of the way for us .
Pros : great location and amazing ambience . 10/10
Cons :
Entrance : the girls dressed very elegantly in black dresses were busy chit chatting at the front desk with their colleagues, surely after they saw us one of them came forward and helped us get our table and later went back to chit chatting at the front desk of this restaurant on a busy Friday evening .
Not to forget later in the evening, we also spotted two of the servers getting cozy with each other near the bar , surely it was a fine Friday evening and anyone could do with some release of 'oxytocin' aka 'happy hormones',but certainly if it was for someone a bit logical and who understands 'work ethics 'they would wait for a private space after their shift was over..isn't it ?
It's your work place for heaven's sake !!! Clearly the restaurant manager wasn't there tonight or least bothered .
Server : I very well remember the name of the lady who was waiting our table but I am not going to mention her here. For whatever reasons she wasn't in a mood to smile and had no patience,in fact on a few occasions was rude , unpleasant and unprofessional. Either waiting tables isn't her thing or it wasn't a good day for her or she was waiting for her shift to get over to run out of that place .
Food quality: From the time I had my food , I wanted to throw up and unfortunately I did more than a couple of times after we reached our hotel at night . Clearly the chef in the kitchen was also waiting for the night to end ..
Overall Customer service was obnoxious. Sometimes even if the f&b is bad , a smiling face, welcoming gesture and in short a well trained and happy staff makes up for the damage .
Waste of $70 and a bad evening in Oklahoma.

Read moreWe went here for dinner on a business trip. One of my coworkers is a local and chose the place for the lake vibe.
Everything about the place was decent. Modern decor, a wood fired theme and the lake created a nice upbeat ambience on a Thursday night. They had live music on the patio, which was a nice addition to the evening. The band was very good and played a good mix of music for the evening.
Our server was outstanding. She was very helpful and explaining the menu, very attentive and overall did an excellent job with everything.
I had the Wagyu beef and shrimp with the tamales. It was a fun dish with an interesting combination of foods. I ordered the Wagyu beef rare and it was cooked perfectly although a bit under seasoned in my opinion. The chimichurri sauce on it was a bit lackluster. I felt like it could’ve done with some fresh herbs and a little bit more of a zesty flavor to it. The shrimp that accompanied the dish had a Cajun spice rub on it which tasted very good, but the shrimp were a little bit overcooked.
We did have a shrimp cocktail for an appetizer and that was OK. The shrimp were cooked well, but a bit bland.
Getting back to the main course…I’m used to tamales being stuffed with something whether it be a form of meat or something else but these were just the corn masa which I feel was a missed opportunity. They were a little dense and could’ve used something inside of it to break up the masa.
My coworkers ordered the rotisserie chicken and the ribs. We all shared a little bit with each other to try. The ribs were good, they had a nice bark on them. That was slightly caramelized, and the sauce was sweet, but not overpowering. I would’ve liked them better except they were cold, which was a disappointing start to the meal. My other coworker had their rotisserie chicken which I almost ordered and I’m glad it didn’t because it was a bit dry and it would’ve been disappointed, considering that was something that was supposed to be featured on their menu.
I also had a mock tail, which was a bit uninspired, it was a coconut pineapple margarita which really felt like they just mixed to syrups together, and that was it. It wasn’t done with much thought in mind.
To me it felt like you’re at a run of the mill Woodfire themed restaurant that’s trying to feel a bit upscale but missing the mark on creating a truly...
