Indigo Lounge OKC — Restaurant in Oklahoma City

Went here while i was in town for my friend's wedding. We all enjoyed the vibe.

The lounge is modern, comfortable, clean and welcoming to everyone.

It's a fun and diverse environment with a great layout.

Aside from the bar area up front, there are couch areas and tables all the way through so that everyone can find somewhere to enjoy the space.

I don't drink, (the rest of the wedding party does )but I had fun nonetheless.

It seems like a really safe space. I saw people of all ages getting to be themselves without hesitation or judgment.

I grew up in the ft Lauderdale, Florida area, which has a lot of diversity... and i wish we had something like this when i was younger.

This would be a great place for a performance space for people to get to share their art/self expression.

I talked to the bar owner and thanked her for what they've accomplished there. Found out her wife designed the decor.

I have to say, coming from the Bay Area, my expectations were (unfairly) low for the gay scene in Oklahoma…WOW, was I wrong! …

The inside of this place was OBVIOUSLY curated with love and an attention to detail rarely found in the gay bar scene. It’s clear that the owner wanted a place that had a lounge vibe, coupled with a design that promotes community and conversation.

The drinks? Fabulous. The staff? FUN, and Attentive! The vibe? Clean. Conversational. Toe tapping to beats. The aesthetic? Unique, curated and modern. (Think restoration hardware meets cocktail lounge)

Anytime I come back to Oklahoma, this will be my go-to. Hands down.

As a bonus, you don’t leave smelling...

This was our second time visiting, we were there for pride and karaoke and we had so much fun. The people who were in charge of karaoke are amazing and so nice and drinks were good. We absolutely love this place. I do have a complaint about one of the bartenders though assuming I wasn’t going to tip but yet she didn’t see me when I did put a tip in the jar. I don’t like to tip on my card and prefer to use cash, therefore I tip at the end of the night. I would just point out that when you assume anything it’s never helpful.
