After today my family and I are no longer going to be going to McDonalds. We can go elsewhere an not be insulted as we were today. So today was a grand reopening at this McDonalds here in MWC. Its very busy, 3 buses with kids were already there. But we go in and wait in the back, trying to figure out what we want. They got rid of the chicken biscuit that was mom's fav. When we got up there, also learned they got rid of the egg biscuit they used to have, you now have to put it in as a sausage biscuit minus the sausage and add a folded egg. A little frustrating, given I only get Egg biscuits when I get breakfasts for a buck, but if McDonalds wants to make it more complicated for their employees, whatever its on them. So tell the guy my order, he rings it all up, and I pay with a $20. Well, he has to run around back there, talking with a bunch of other people about the kids order I guess. It makes me a little nervous, cause he's still got my $20 in his hand and he still hasn't rung out my order yet. But whatever. Finally he rings it out, hands me back my cash, hands me my receipt, and my two cups. No big deal, I go and get my drinks. Everything is going okay. Frustrated sure, but you know, things change. I was considering, you know, I may not come back cause they got rid of mom's fav sandwich and they complicated my biscuit which looking like it costs more, but whatever, we'll see. So I'm waiting around for my order, which on the really big numbers at the top says 335, in the back, just hanging out. Well the order 328 comes up. The young lady calls it out 5 times, "order 328" I ignore it cause its not my number, mine is 335 not 328. I can see the numbers on the receipt in her hand that says 328 cause the numbers are really big. Those of us waiting for our orders don't go up, cause none of us have 328 apparently. It appeared someone made an order, got fed up on waiting on the huge mass of kids from the buses and left, it happens. She looks at my mom and I, and says "328" I respond back twice "not my number" cause it wasn't. Mine was 335 not 328. I can see the receipt in the employee's hand and it clearly says in big numbers 328. The big numbers on my receipt says 335. They don't match. Then the big tall African American guy who took our order, stomps over to the employee, takes the receipt from her and calls out "328, 2 sausage biscuits and 4 burritos". Well that for sure wasn't my order cause I ordered 2 egg biscuits, 1 plain biscuit, 1 order of hash and 2 large drinks. And my order number in big black numbers said 335." But instead of putting the order off to the side since no one has come and claimed it yet, he stomps over to my mom and I, snatches the receipt from my hand and stomps back over to check it with the receipt in the other employee's hands. Clearly me saying "its not my order, mine's 335" twice isn't good enough. Now I'm getting mad. I wasn't up at the counter demanding my order right then, I wasn't up demanding my order be next. I wasn't even demanding that be my order. I was hanging out near the back waiting for my order. They're on 328, so assuming they go in chrono order, there are 6 other orders before mine. And even though the guy now has my receipt in his hand and had just compared it to the receipt in the other girl's hand he turns toward my direction and says "2 sausage biscuits and 4 burritos". Now I've told them two times already,"its not my order, not my number" This time I say "I don't want someone else's order" Then he goes further to say "well we're just trying to get you out of here." By giving me the wrong order?? I don't want 2 sausage biscuits and 4 burritos. I just want my order of 2 egg biscuits, 1 plain biscuit, 1 order of hash. He almost throws the receipt back to me when trying to give it back before storming off again saying in a very rude way "well we're just trying to get you out of here." like he's trying to do us a favor by trying to give us the wrong order. If I was on the fence about wanting to go back to McDonalds. This seals it,...
Read moreI pulled into McDonald’s on 29th and Douglas I got ready to order but my kids did not have their minds made up so whenever the lady said can I help you, (not thanks for choosing McDonald’s or Hi welcome to McDonald’s), I asked them to give us just a moment, the lady gave us like 10 seconds then came back over the speakers and said ”ARE YOU READY” “ARE YOU READY” and I said NO, as a matter of fact I’m not ready. I proceeded to ask for her name, she said Melissa in a rude condescending tone, I said Melissa, what is your store manager’s name, she said DeMario, again in a rude condescending tone. I said thank you, then I drove around to the window and asked for the manager who happened to be DeMario and he said “how can I help you” and I said yes I’m having a problem with the fact that I was trying to make an order but the lady that was at the on the speaker was being so rude that I chose not to eat here and he said “are you sure because the lady that is on the speaker tonight is one of the nicest ladies I have” and I said well sir I’m telling you she said Are you ready, are you ready twice real fast without me even having the chance to respond and it was in such a rude tone that we decided to say no we’re not ready and we’re not eat here and I told him she said her name was Melissa, but the lady that first came to the window said there is not a Melissa here, so I said is her name Melissa and he said I can give you my name but I don’t have to give you her name because she is a minor, I said that doesn’t matter, she still needs to be professional, he said “sir you’re complaining on a kid, you’re a grown man, I said that’s fine can I have your store number, he said it’s on the bag I said I didn’t get a bag because I decided not to eat here, please let me have the store number and then he said he was done with me and closed the window and did not give me the store number so I will have to look it up and I will be calling tomorrow morning to speak with the store manager. I will go as high...
Read moreThis experience was extremely laughable. Ordered through the mobile app I then choose drive thru as my pick up. I paid at the 1st window and proceeded to the second. At the window I was in formed that my $6 drink was not available. I then was told to wait for the manager. She comes to the window offering me a chocolate milkshake. I ask about a refund she tells me that it is not her problem and to call the app. Well after siting an looking there was no information provided for a refund of a missing item. She then brings me a shake that is no where near even the color brown. I let her know I will not accept this and I asked again about my refund she tells me once again it’s not her problem. Are you serious so ordering through the McDonald’s app directly is not the issue of the McDonald’s management when they do not have the item listed not available at their store. I proceeded to hold up the drive thru for the next 25 mins as I spoke with McDonald’s cooperate office. The manager also very unprofessionally decided to grab her phone to record me recording her after locking the drive thru window like I was a criminal…..I used to work for them for a very long time so I know there are certain procedures for situations. They have moved the issue up to their complaints manager so that we can resolve this issue. The manager is this Rude old Asian woman with black hair that she wears in a ponytail most of the day time. I literally see her all the time when I DoorDash. Smh the nerve of people to be mad when they are clearly wrong she could have provided an actual chocolate shake or a refund for her...
