Awkward experience period. Three people there but my sandwich was not assembled correctly at all the way subway makes sandwiches & they don't speak enough English. I let them toast my tuna because I don't like wasting food but I don't know anyone who likes heated tuna. I asked for wheat bread and provolone and toast it and waited, but before I knew it he put tuna on it first and then he put provolone on top of the tuna so I let him toast it. Then he put some spinach and I stopped him and said I forgot I want ranch dressing on it, but he kept putting on the spinach first and then put the ranch dressing on it. One woman offered to remake it but I don't waste food. Then I forgot I wanted it cut in thirds and told them but she said it was already cut in two. I gave up and asked for a plastic knife before I paid and sat down. The sandwich was not even cut all the way through! They kept speaking a foreign language I don't know the whole time I was eating, which most people find annoying. I thought they spoke Urdu maybe but he said no when I asked him but he didn't offer to tell me what language they spoke. After I got out the door he yelled I love you. I don't know if he was being sarcastic or nice. I'm not going back. Music playing was...
Read moreI visited the Subway located at 16325 N Santa Fe Ave, Edmond, OK 73013. I had ordered a sandwich through the app and selected extra lettuce and extra sauce, but the sandwich I received had very little of either. When I went back to request a remake, the manager or owner refused. I mentioned that the sandwich was made poorly and that he seemed to be cutting corners, to which he responded, “That’s why you ordered a $6.99 sandwich.”
I explained that the price was due to a promotion, and then, out of nowhere, he asked me, “Are you Muslim?” I was shocked and asked him to repeat himself. He responded with, “Nothing, just go.”
This experience was not only unprofessional but blatantly discriminatory. As someone who regularly orders from Subway across multiple states, I’ve never encountered anything like this. I am appalled by the behavior and will not be returning to any...
Read moreSo my school's band was heading up to the Santa Fe High School in the area for a band festival. Afterwards, all 70 or so of us piled into the bus and headed out for lunch. The bus stopped in the parking lot of the McDonald's across the street. We had the choice of either going there or to Subway. About 20 of us ran over to the Subway, because we knew there was going to be a line, so each of us wanted to get there first. The two people working the counter when we got there, a middle-aged man and an older woman had never gotten any advance notice about our coming. I watched as these two people worked faster than I had seen any work at a Subway before. They managed to take and serve the individual orders for 20-25 kids in under 20 minutes. In my opinion, the employees who were on shift at that time deserve a...
