This makes the 10th maybe more times that they have messed our order up,we have tried giving them the benefit of a doubt but this time has put the icing on the cake.we got home and our fries was hard as a rock,cold,and then a pull a huge hair out of them ok wait that's not all!! My hamburger was the most nastiest thing I've ate so far in my life,it was cold there was one little onion on it no pickles,no cheese and then my fiancé hamburger was so burnt it was hard as a rock I could probably throw it at my window and brake the window!!! Read moreI am a travel nurse and I stop for coffee on average 3-5 mornings per week and prefer McDonalds coffee over any other brand. I have visited multiple McDonalds locations across the state. On the morning of Wednesday July 5, 2023 I stopped at the McDonalds location at I-40 at Bat Cave Road, Old Fort NC 28762 to get coffee before heading to work. The young lady at the 2nd window handed me the cup of coffee but before I could sit the coffee cup into the cup holder the lid came off the coffee cup and the hot coffee spilled onto my right thigh. I went inside the restaurant at 8:12am to report the incident. At that point I left the premises to seek medical attention. I was treated for 2nd degree burns. Once home I contacted the store again and was told an incident report would be completed. I also contacted the 800 number to report the incident. The next day I received a call from Melanie at Gallagher Basset insurance company and was told someone would be in touch with me after the investigation was complete. Since this date I have contacted the McDonalds 800 number and/or the store location 10 times (calling at least once a week) requesting follow up. The GM of the store location (Amanda) lost the incident report then no longer worked at that location. The new GM (Savannah) completed a new incident report. I have been told each time I call that messages have been left for the franchise owner Christine Devont, the McDonalds regional office, the McDonalds corporate office, and Gallagher Basset insurance company. I have yet to receive a call back from any representative of McDonalds to update me on the investigation related to the negligence of the McDonalds employee who failed to properly secure the lid on my coffee cup on July 5, 2023. I have spoken to Victoria, Jessica, Macy, Renee, Adriann, Daniel, Ira, Jada, and Natoria. I have not visited McDonalds since this incident occurred and do not plan to. Anyone who purchases coffee from this McDonald's location does so at your own risk. Read moreI have been here a few times now. The staff aren't the happiest. The store appears relatively clean. Normally my daughter doesn't complain about the food. Today I went for a happy meal. I ordered through the app, and collected her order. When she was eating in the car she told me she had extra apples but they didn't give her a toy. On the app I selected the InsideOut2 toy. I attempted to call the store as I was almost home (3o min away) but the number was disconnected. The number on Google and on their website is apparently not correct and is a different number. I went back about an hour later. I told the employee that I was never given the toy for her happy meal and also asked for the franchisee's contact information (they normally have a number for customers to call franchisee's vs corporate. They refused to give me the number. There was 1 heavyset black guy with shoulder length hair that was pointing and laughing at me the entire time I was there because I was "upset about a toy". I paid for the item and my daughter wanted it. I think it's reasonable to be mad when you pay for something and don't get it. The black guy with the shoulder length hair tried totake the toy back from me several times saying I didn't need it if I was going to still complain. He also tried to give me a personal number to the store, which I declined and said I would escalate beyond the store at this point. But I explained I had paid for it. Another employee came and took my information down and said someone would call me. The employees were all hanging out by the grill area (4+ people) while another customer who checked his order before leaving and realized it was also wrong got upset. This guy also had a happy meal and they didn't give his kid a toy. I am not sure why because they have a huge box of the happy meal toys right near the happy meal boxes. There was no apology offered for the entire situation. I did call corporate to explain the situation, which never should have transpired.
