I'm writing a review to express my disappointment with this crackel barrel location. I placed two separate orders online. When I picked up the orders, I was so disappointed with the quality and presentation of both meals. There was no syrup for the pancakes that were burnt alongside the bacon and overcooked sausage.. The egg seemed like it was poorly tossed in the container. I called the store and spoke with Abby about my order. She asked me if I can drive back to the store to pick up the syrup and new bacon. So I said "I drove in the rain and you want me to come back to the store just to pick up some syrup and bacon?" I told her NO. She said "it was just the 1st option". I said to her that it was a stupid option to drive back when it was their mistake in the first place. Then, she said that I will get a credit when I come to the restaurant next time. I said, no I am NEVER coming back to that store and that I need a credit. I explained to her that this is not my first bad experience with this store. I told her I will write a google review online. She said " no we don't want you to do that". She said that I will get a refund on my credit card for the amount of $24, which was unacceptable because she should have credited both orders. Previous experience is when we ate at the restaurant, it was busy and our food was served cold. Another online order mishap, they said order was ready picked up at 12noon. They messed up my order and I ended up waiting 40 minutes. I dealt with Lorraine. She offered discount on 2 meals on our next visit. We return ordered 3 meals but she only credited the 2 cheapest meal. The server never checked on us. Another poor mishap. Now, this occured today. So unfortunately, people in this store have poor management! As not only once I experienced poor quality and service. Oh btw Lorraine said once " sorry we were busy". Poor excuse! Please see the attached photos that I took to see the poor quality of food. You can see the pancakes are well done on both sides. You lost my business and I will be sharing my experience with friends and family. This place doesn't deserve any stars at all. Btw , I ended up throwing the food. Please tell me how can you eat food that was burnt which made the food tasteless. Oh also, I will be returning to the store to return earrings that I bought. You don't deserve...
Read moreWe love Cracker Barrel! We went on Sunday afternoon for lunch and were greeted by the BEST host ever…his name was Josh. He really impressed me. He brought us to our table and even pulled out our chairs for us. He was polite, had great vibes and had such a nice smile. I’ve never been so impressed with a host or hostess at any restaurant. Ever. I really liked Josh. (And then I found out he was training!!! They NEED to keep Josh, he is an asset to their restaurant) So, then there’s Donna, our amazing, sweet southern server. We’ve had Donna serve us in the past. Donna is the best at what she does. I would recommend asking for her if you go in. She’s always happy, she’s nice and she’s just great at what she does. She’s a cool person. We really like her. She’s the perfect server for that restaurant with her southern accent and awesome personality. I can’t say enough about her. She’s just great and we appreciate her. But, we did have an issue there that day…(had nothing to do with Josh or Donna)… When we received our meals, most of our food was warm at best, not hot (it was brought out by someone else). When Donna came by to check on us, we let her know and she apologized and sent it back to be remade (not her fault and we weren’t mad). So, some lady came out to talk to us like they often do when they mess up your food and she said ‘sorry about the mix up’. Well, that actually made us mad. There was NO mix up. You served food that wasn’t hot. That’s not a mix up and you’re a liar. Naturally, that makes me want to call her out so, her name is ABBY. She is a swing leader. Apparently, not a good one because you don’t lie. Just be real. When you go to a restaurant and pay over $17 for a plate, you expect it to be hot when it’s being walked from the kitchen to your table. It’s not that hard. I understand things aren’t always perfect, but don’t come to my table and lie. Not cool. Josh and Donna are the best 💥 And when the food is hot,...
Read moreWaited at the host stand for 5 minutes before being told by a group of employees standing by the register talking that there was no hostess available. Found a manager talking to another employee by the kitchen that she was busy doing something else but she did seat us even though we disrupted her personal conversation. We ordered country fried steak but was served a frozen cube of something with white gravy on top. It didn’t taste good at all and when I asked the server what is was and why it wasn’t country fried steak, she gaslighted me and told me it was always this way. Believe me, if I had previously been served whatever that was, I would have never ordered it again. I have eaten country fried steak previously here and it was actually country fried steak. This was not country fried steak. The cashier told me if I didn’t like my food, I could talk to the manager that we previously had annoyed by asking to be seated with a menu and silverware. I have never had such a terrible experience at a Cracker Barrel before. The resteraunt was pretty deserted for dinner time and that should have been our first clue that something was amiss. I used to be a server and would have never ignored a customer complaint especially if I could see my patron had only taken one bite out of their food. I would have also asked if they wanted to order something else. I would never have told a customer that the item had always been a mystery frozen cube when it most certainly has not. You just lost a long term customer without the slightest care. I paid for my meal that I wouldn’t give to a dog, left hungry and had a candy bar for dinner after working a nine and half hour shift and I was gaslighted and shown that I annoyed the employees by asking to be seated and asking why the country fried steak wasn’t country...
