M Tea and Coffee — Restaurant in Oldsmar

I love boba, but unfortunately this shop has really let me down recently. I used to love stopping by on hot days for one of their lemonades — they used to be super refreshing with a real, fresh lemon flavor. Lately though, the lemonades taste totally different — almost artificial and chemical, like the recipe was changed for the worse. They’re just not the same anymore, and honestly, not enjoyable at all.

To be fair, the staff is always friendly and helpful, which I appreciate. But the inside of the shop is extremely hot, with barely any air conditioning. In Florida heat, that makes it hard to want to stay and enjoy your drink. Disappointing all around, especially given how good this place used to be.

I came back and gave the lemonades another try, as you said you went back to the original lemonade. Safe to say, I was disappointed. The lemonade is not the same as it was in February or anytime before that. It’s sad that I had to witness change, and guess I’ll go back to paying the same price at Starbucks, for a drink I actually like. I’ve been a fan of this shop for a few months but i agree with some of the other reviews that this is getting out of hand. It is not the employees fault, but it is an exceptionally long wait time on busy days. Management should not be having these poor employees work alone when the foot traffic is this hectic. Earlier this afternoon it was swamped in here and they only had one barista on a holiday of all days. Another thing is that it is nearly impossible to enter the building without being swarmed by wasps. Even going through the drive through the wasps try to get in my car window. The best boba in all of Tampa I swear. They have the most variety with the most authentic flavors. I like how they allow you to adjust the sweetness and when I ask for more tea than milk, they don’t look at me like I have 5 heads 🙃. Staff has been awesome every time I’ve come here. My kids are obsessed with the boba here. It really is perfection and something for everyone....
