Bar 39 — Restaurant in Omaha

Let me start by saying that the service was fine and this is a ownership/management complaint. Good luck getting booked to DJ dealing with Shelby. She has told me over and over again that they are booked for the month and she would reach out. Well that was a lie. She is the worst, unresponsive , and unprofessional bar manager that I ever dealt with and bar 39 should be ashamed of themselves keeping her on board. Now let me move on to Chad who is the GM. I brought this to Chad’s attention and all he said is we will get you in here. He gave me his card and told me to call or text him to see when I can come in. So we can all guess what happened Chad went ghost and never responded. So if you’re looking to business with these people i would stay far away from them and think twice. Music isn’t the problem here…. it’s the terrible service. I read the other review about the bar tenders and it couldn’t be more true. You’ll sit there patiently waiting and the bar tenders will literally ignore you as they continue to hand out free drinks and converse with their friends. The owner probably loses a good chunk of money this way since they’re treating the paying customers badly and hand out shots to their friends. Unbelievable that there isn’t someone behind the bar that leads the rest of the bar tenders. We ended up leaving and going next door, guy served us within 5mins. Check out the places around blackstone but this one is a mess.

The worst bar I’ve ever been to. My friend paid for us while me and my other friend were still in like about 3 people behind him and when the friend I was with asked the bouncer if he had to wait or if we could go in he grabbed her and said you need to get back in like aggressively. She came back in line with me and when she came back up to the bounce said “you can’t grab me like that@ he said “I can do whatever I want” and drug her out of the line. I then asked why he threw my friend out and he said “ are you going in or are you going with her” which I responded with “you never responded to my question” he then proceeded to pick me up off the ground and throw me out. The worst bar I ever been to. Not only is the customer service terrible, but the DJ prays on girls younger than him and pays for their drinks to get lucky the night.
