Update: DON'T SAY YOU'RE OPEN 24 HOURS AND THEN TELL ME THAT YOU DON'T START BACK UP UNTIL 4:00 A.M. WHEN I PULL UP TO THE SPEAKER. THAT MEANS YOU'RE NOT OPEN 24 HOURS. I JUST DON'T UNDERSTAND WHY.
Don't try to visit this BK between the midnight and 4 AM. Apparently they only accept door dash orders during these hours. I can't imagine there's very many people ordering door dash after 1:30 AM or so but, apparently the staff can't handle serving individuals through the drive thru along with door dash orders. Why? I only wish I knew so I could coach them on how to take care of both simultaneously. I don't think the employees are getting paid enough to care. Maybe it's time BK bumped their wages. Ever since McDonald's started paying new hires $15/hr, things have vastly improved there. What's funny is that BK's menu prices have gone up just as much. If not to compensate for higher wages then what I wonder?
This Burger King and the other one on 30th Street are the worst. I tried to go to the one on 30th and Forest lawn first which is right by my house and they told me it was going to be a 45 minute wait because they had a large doordash order. I've worked in fast food and I'm not sure why they couldn't handle both with proper time management and multitasking skills. So, I decided to drive to the one on 30th and Ames and they tell me they're only accepting mobile orders. I had already had to wait in line for about 15 minutes before I was even able to get to the speaker and by the time I got there there was somebody behind me who was unwilling to or unable to back up so I got stuck in the line for another 10 minutes before I could exit. I don't know if they're franchised locations but, if so, whoever owns them must not be very involved. Very very...
Read moreFirst I will preface my comment with, "Good attention to the task at hand" seems to be an unapproachable goal. I ordered King Sour Dough " No Bacon please" onion rings and 2 10-piece chicken nuggets. $11 was paid for 3 10 piece chicken nuggets worth $3. I did return at once. I was pleasantly surprised with the manager's immediate instructions to the crew to redo this order and be quick. She didn't waste my time with I'm sorries or shorthanded staff excuses. She also handed me a glass to sip a soda during my brief wait. I said I hadn't purchased a soda. She said "I know but you did have to make an extra trip so enjoy it on me." I was glad I did come to get this corrected. A refreshing change from the usual reactions and obstacles when confronting poor service issues. Still a 1 star rating for the errors on the order. But she deserves 4 stars for the response...
