What the restaurant might be lacking in atmosphere, it more than makes up for it in taste. And while the restaurant could use some TLC and a few more light fixtures, it is quite clean, so that's not a worry. This is the restaurant you go to if you want the best Birria Tacos in town. And yes, if the thought even crossed your mind, get the Birria Taco Pizza on the menu, and order it with fries if you want to share it with a group. It feeds 3 to 5 (depending on the hunger level of the group). And believe it or not, I think I prefer the Birria in the pizza form. Just make sure you eat it as soon as possible because the juices from the Birria will saturate into the bottom layer and make the slices harder to hold the longer you wait. But that doesn't mean I'll stop ordering the tacos from time to time. Both of them are incredible. Again, they are the best I've had in town so far. The first time I ordered from this restaurant, I got the Quesabirria tacos through DoorDash just to see how they stacked up against others I've had. And let me tell you, it was so good that I had to visit the actual restaurant a week later so that I could transcend into heaven on Earth once more. As a heads-up, you will need to order the Consomé (beef broth) on the side as an extra item if you want to dip your tacos into it. It's normally included with the tacos at a lot of other places, so that's why I'm mentioning it. This is the only way to eat Birria in my opinion (this goes for the tacos and the pizza), so it's a must-have if you want the full experience (think of it as Mexican French Dip). The restaurant serves complimentary bean dip and chips instead of salsa or queso, so if you aren't a fan of beans, be aware. I love them, so it was a welcome difference to set them apart from the rest. I also ordered a regular margarita on the rocks, and I would happily recommend those as well. I plan to make this a regular restaurant into my rotation.

Meh... Ordered the Chicken Milanesa plate and wasnt impressed at all. The chicken was super dry, the rice seemed to be the last batch in the pot as it was scorched and crunchy. The waitress said the plate would come with guacamole but it didnt, when I asked about it, they brough me 3 slices of avocado. The salad was just lettuce with no dressing options or even oil/salt and had 1 slice of tomatoe that seemed to be the las piece of the tomatoe 😆 see yourself. My friends ordered 2 margaritas which took a long time to come out and the place was empty at the time.. On the service I give 2 of 5 star. They just came once to our table and we were all done at that point so we asked for the ticket. Before that they never came to check if we needed drink refills or anything... The cheese birria tacos my husband ordered were good though and also the chips with beans. I gave 3 stars on the food just for that. I dont think we will be coming back, sorry..

A little neighborhood spot. Grabbed the chicken plate. The winner was the birria. Had the birria tacos and those were tasty. They did not skimp on anything. The topper was the birria pizza. That thing was loaded with birria ( seasoned good) cheese and other goodies. You will need help eating that pizza and still taking some to go. They give you a cup of the juices for dipping. So your getting favor goodness from every angle. Prices are reasonable. When we arrived we were the only ones there , but shortly people started coming in. Also people stopping in and picking up delivery orders. Parking is not to good. There are a few spaces in front on the street. There is a parking lot directly across the street at the grocery store. They do have 1 space out front marked handicap. UPDATE had to go back before we left and get that Birria pizza and some more Birria tacos.

Alright so many people rave about the pizza, and rightfully so. But I want to take a second to rave about the employees. They were fantastic, and humorous. They were also attentive, personable and genuinely seemed happy to be there. When I can see employees are happy it makes me happy. Now to the pizza…. The pizza was phenomenal and I have to tell everyone about it because you have to try it at least once to be hooked. I haven’t stopped thinking about how delicious it was. It’s huge and comes with an au ju type sauce along with limes. The lime and the au ju was just the icing and enhanced the flavors together. I will definitely be trying other things next time I go, and soon! Also, the cokes in glass bottles were freaking delicious, something about drinking pop from a glass bottle just makes it taste fresh!

Try the pizza birria. It's the ultimate in a meat lover's pizza. The complimentary chips and bean dip are yum. They have horchatta. 9/5/23 We have always loved the birria pizza but thought we'd try something different this time: the tacos and the torta. Both were wonderful. I read up on the torta and discovered the bread was influenced by the French. It's not a flatbread but a long soft bun. We had the torta al pastor with marinated pork, onions and cilantro. We will get it again. I also read about the Tortas Ahogadas (Carnita torta soaked in sauce) Wikipedia says it's a typical dish from the Mexican state of Jalisco, particularly in the city of Guadalajara. That's on our "next time" list.

My wife and I came and having spent over 18 years in Mexico this restaurant was amazing. Everything about the decor, the whole family together (I think one of the kids was doing home work even) and the food hadn’t wavered from the original Mexican recipes. For the first 30minutes my wife and sat as the only ones in the restaurant so the waiter was so sweet to care for us. As we were leaving the restaurant had started to fill with people speaking only Spanish and that really cemented in the authenticity and pull they have into the Latin community. So so so delicious. We had a burrito, al pastor tacos, and lots of horchata agüitas.
