I walked in expecting an average experience just like all the other Hispanic restaurants in south omaha. But what I got was any thing but average! This was the best restaurant Dining experience that I have had in years! Starting with the staff we were Greeted from them moment we walked in the door and quickly seated. Our waitress was so nice and polite to us the whole time. Even though I knew very little spanish she was still able to help me and get me what ever I needed. In my opinion one of the best waitresses iv had in while! Needless to say she got a great tip$. Moving on to the food as there where so many options to choose from it was very hard to pick one. One of the cooks came out and gave me some suggestion on what to choose. I ended up choosing the chicken with mole and a side of rice. And I was not disappointed this was the best juiciest chicken i have ever had! And the sauce was to die for. The rice was cooked just right! The atmosphere was very nice it had a very home like feeling to it which was great and on top of all that it was extremely clean! From the great service to the wonderful food and the great service this restaurant is now my number one choice in omaha when it come to getting a bit to eat for hispanic food. I will reccomend this to any and...

You sit down. They offer free chips and salsa (two, one green, one red).
I'd recommend the Fuego quesadilla. 5 stars It was not spicy at all. Loaded with filling it costed 13. I added the birria soup for another 1.50. it was very good. I ate a quarter and a tortilla of stuff from my friends plate and I was done. The serving size is quite large.
The mole poblano was a 3 star for me personally, but it's probably because I'm not a huge fan of mole. I am particular and this one just didn't do it for me.
The costilla de adobo was a 4 star.
The jaimaca and the horchata were both drinks I'd order again. 4.5 stars.
I gave this place a 5 because it's cute, service was great, and they did have one dish that I would definitely come back for. Service was very accommodating.
They have a small private parking lot around the building which makes it pretty...
Read moreFirst time I ever had la poblanita it was through take out, on the phone the girl said 13 minutes and we get there, it was actually 30 minutes. Okay whatever we wait and get the food and it was good. Second time was today, we decided to dine in and give this spot another try since it is good, we just didn't have the best first experience. We sit there and wait for someone to take our order and nothing. The girl at the register is the waitress too, I understand this is a family owned small business but you can't be this short staffed. It was not that busy & the girl is dealing with pick up orders too so she forgets about us and goes to another table that came after us. We decide to leave. I won't be giving this place a 3rd shot. Also claims to be from puebla but doesn't have cemitas or memelas only mole poblano :/ and a couple more dishes but not the best...
