Gandolfo's New York Deli — Restaurant in Omaha

Extremely poor customer service. I asked to have all sandwiches labeled because there were multiple sandwiches that were the same but wanted different substitutions. The man at the counter assured me that they always write the sandwich type on the wrapper. The only one that was labeled was the Rueben, the most obvious of them all. They didn't read any of the instructions on the salad, and even got the wrong dressing. The guys behind the counter were not wearing gloves and I saw them touching their faces while making the food. The wait was 30+ minutes even though the website says ready in 5-10 minutes..... When I had to go back because they didn't give me an itemized receipt, I let them know this and they didn't even respond to me. What a joke! Won't be back to...

I've been hoping to try Gandolfo's for a few months now! As a frequent traveler to omaha I was very interested to experience their pastrami! It did not disappoint! some of the juiciest most flavorful pastrami I've ever had! I got the simple pastrami on rye sandwich (rye, pastrami, hot mustard) I added swiss cheese (because, duh). I ordered my sandwich for take out to enjoy the day and didn't realize until I sat down to eat it the deli did not include the hot mustard on the sandwich. The sandwich wasnt dry and was still enjoyable but definitely missing the spice and flavor of the mustard. Had the sandwich been made to order with all the ingredients I feel like it would have been...

Very disappointed and threw away half my sandwich. I ordered a pastrami rye as a combo and it totaled far more than expected. The sandwich arriving dripping in grease so bad, I could not pick it up. After attempting to eat half with knife and fork, I gave up. The pastrami was tasteless and all I could taste was the mustard. The side of potato salad also seemed to be flavorless. To top it off, when asking if they happened to have fries, I was given the condescending response "Sir, deli's do not sell fries". It should have been a signal. We at least my fountain drink was palatable. Perhaps I just caught them on a bad day but I will not be...
