Godfather's Pizza — Restaurant in Omaha

Avoid this location, if at all possible. Ordered two pizzas online for carry-out. Said it would be ready in 25 minutes. Got there 30 minutes after ordering, and they hadn't even started my order.

Left and came back 30 minutes later, the girl at the window said they "ran out of larges" and tried to give me a medium specialty instead of the large that i paid for online. I asked for the difference between large and medium to be put back on my credit card. She looked at me like I asked her a science question and made the manager help me instead. I explained to her what had just happened. The manager said, with a confused tone, "we aren't out of larges." The manager then said they could have my large pizza done in 15 minutes. So, I left (again) and returned 20 minutes later. This time, I walked in to the store. The young girl who "helped" me before, grabbed my pizza, put it on the counter, and walked away without saying a word. As I left, I couldn't help but notice two different people in their cars just sitting there, as if they were waiting for their own pizzas they ordered some time ago.

This is our first time at this location and it will not be our last. From beginning to end we had an exceptional experience. I called the day before to see if they could accommodate a larger crowd as I had never seen or been to this location. When I first called it went to a call center not on site and the women had me call back to reroute me directly to the store. I then spoke with the manager, she offered to reserve seating then discussed pizza specials with me and set up a time. Just like that everything was set up. The next day we arrived, everything was as discussed and the pizza ready and it was the Godfathers Pizza I remembered. We were there for probably a couple hours visiting with our group of friends and the staff frequently asked if we needed anything and if the food was ok. They were all far more accommodating than any Godfathers I've been to, especially since they were maintaining a steady flow of calls and lobby customers. Why does this location refuse to bake the pepperoni UNDERNEATH the cheese? Is it really that hard? I genuinely would like to know since it's not a problem at other locations. Godfather's is more on the pricey side when it comes to chain pizza places but I'm willing to pay the extra for decent pizza which I feel that it is when you're not in the mood for a mom and pop and are just wanting something quick. However, I think Godfather's pepperoni is truly the best when they cook it underneath the cheese. The Lavista location does this without asking and it's amazing every time. It's the only location that remains consistent and tasty. Very curious as to why this location specifically does not want to take the time to do something so simple but worth it.
