Edited: Amber reached out to us almost immediately after placing this review. She apologized for the way my mom was treated and took the time to use our experience as a teaching tool for her employees. She went above and beyond to correct the situation. We appreciated her customer service.

. We normally have a great experience here , but the last few times have been less than we have come to expect. My mom is visiting from out of town and normally loves going to this place because they make a great drink. She is from Seattle and has even ordered their beans when she got home. The last 2 times she has gone in to get her drink there have been issues. She normally gets a 16 oz mocha quad split shot with 1/4 chocolate iced with light ice. The first time she was given a 16 oz cup half full with espresso, chocolate and ice. She asked why there wasn’t any milk and she was told because it’s a mocha. She asked them to please fill the rest of the 16 oz with milk. The next day she went one of the baristas informed her that they were not authorized to put milk in her drink and then continued in a condescending attitude to instruct her on how she should order her drink. My mom then ordered her drink the way the barista told her and when the drink was delivered it was obviously wrong because it was in a 32 oz cup and tasted like chocolate milk. She asked what it was and the barista said it’s what she ordered and my mom said she ordered a 16 oz. The barista then said that she didn’t give a size so she made it a large. Now 2 days previous to these experiences I have gone in and ordered the same drink for her and they were made perfectly. Not sure if there are new baristas or what but my mom did not appreciate the rude condescending manner in which she...

I came here to help support this business after hearing on WOWT6 that they were struggling financially. My last visit here was two years ago, and for some reason I forgot to leave a review. I'm happy to see that the workers here still got it, continuing on delivering amazing coffee, food, and service! My order consisted of a 16 oz decaf latte with an extra shot of espresso and cinnamon flavoring, along with a wonderfully made cherry cheesecake muffin. I'm new to decaf, and I find it to be quite nice here. It's just like regular quality coffee. My muffin also tasted soft, gooey and sweet after warming it up in the microwave. My total ended up being $8.77. As for the interior of the restaurant, it's a little dark, but nice and cozy, with a lot of wall art and plaques dedicated to fallen soldiers. I didn't see the restroom to check how clean they were. The young woman with the nose piercings who served me was also very nice too....

Idk if they were having a bad day but the muffin I got tasted like perfume. It reminded me of what a clean gas station bathroom smells like. You know exactly what I’m talking about. That soap they have in the dispensers at the gas stations? That is what my muffin tasted like. I tried to order my drink and got told 2 different times they were out of something. Came for a dirty chai, they didn’t have chai, tried to get a frappe, they didn’t have frappe powder, every now and again I drive from Bellevue to this location because they have the best dirty chai I can find in Omaha, I was really disappointed to not get what I drove out of my way for. I guess next time I should call? I’ll never eat a muffin from here again though, it was terrible! I’ve had their scones and cookies and I’ve never had an issue. All in all not happy and no “I’m sorry about that” was said either, just kind of...

Veteran owned coffee shop with military discounts. We went as a group. They currently have a Groupon offer which is great to get if you want to try this place out. I would be back. The breakfast sandwiches were all very good and large. I'm hesitant with sausage sometimes because I've had quite a few mediocre ones lately. This sausage was better than most. Not too peppery (think scooters). Our favorite was the breakfast tartine with the bechamel sauce. The coffee is good with sizes from 16 oz to 32 Parking is available in a large lot. It is in Millard (SW Omaha) If you have kids, in the back they have a play area with bar seating so you can watch your child while you have your coffee. They also have a drive through.

Took my wife here for a Valentine's Day brunch. What a great place. Beyond my expectations. The place is warm and friendly and the food, based on what I ordered (Big Breakfast Burrito. My wife had an Egg and Cheese Croissant) was great and hot. The coffee, though, was the best part. I'm home now and can still taste it. There are nice nooks for small groups and it appears to be kid friendly, complete with toys and books. Super friendly staff that is fast on the orders which are made to order, but if you're in a hurry, they have an assortment of cold, ready made sandwiches and snacks. There is a military discount for veterans. We'll be back. Check them out. You won't be sorry.
