Skyybox Grill & Bar — Restaurant in Omaha

Ordered a beer at my table and after 25 minutes I went up to the bar to see what was going on. They were out of what I ordered so I requested something else. After waiting 20 minutes for my change I asked for another beer instead.

I went back to my table and the waitress told me they were out of what I had ordered. I replied that was ok, the bartender already told me.

So after being there for 45 minutes I was able to order some food. I asked for the special, a burger and fries, medium rare. I waited another 40 minutes for a charred, burnt, well done burger to arrive. After about 10 minutes I was able to flag down the waitress and ask for the burger to be remade medium instead of blackened.

I waited another half hour and the waitress saw me taking my empty beer up to the bar. She asked if anyone had brought me my new burger. I told her no, still waiting. I went back to my table and sat down. She came by 15 minutes after that and asked if I wanted another beer. I said no, I'm still waiting for my burger.

This is a great place to watch a game or simply get together with friends for a drink. When I walked in, I commented that it felt like walking into someone's living room. Very comfortable, yet lots of TV's. They do serve food....burgers, fries, wings, sandwiches, nachos, salads....typical bar food. We had nachos and a taco salad. We also tried a taco, seeing as it was $2.00 taco night (Saturday). Looks like they have a daily special. Great place to come to meet, relax, and a bit of good too. I had the Chicken bacon ranch wrap minus the tomatos, with tots and added starters of Jalapeno poppers with a classic Root Beer to wash it all down. They have weekly specials on their menus, with a wide variety to choose from. My waitress Mandy was very good, and observing the staff is great to connect with their customers through the place. Mandy mentioned they have live music the plays here too. Nice! 😎
