International Buffet — Restaurant in Omaha

I used to come to this place all the time and loved it, but their service has fallen off big time! The last time I was here the food was not very good and there was not a big selection. The service was poor also. My aunt says she just went there 2 days ago and she ordered from the menu because she wanted fresh food. Not food from the buffet. She ordered vegetable lo mein and egg drop soup. She said someone immediately came from the back and took some lo mein noodles from the buffet and put some egg drop soup from the buffet in a white container. Then, someone appeared with her "to go" order. She was headed to work so she didn't make a big fuss. She didn't get to eat her food until almost midnight. She was so disappointed when she sat down for lunch that she couldn't eat what she bought at the buffet. She was given noodles with a few slices of onion and a couple of pieces of broccoli. She took everything back when the restaurant opened the next day and demanded her money back. The manager tried to bully her and told her he was only going to give her half of her money back because she didn't bring it back the same day. What difference does it make when she brings it back? My aunt said that the manager did not throw the food away. He left it on the counter as if he was going to put it back on the buffet after she left. I am so grossed out by the thought of this. Especially, after reading other reviews about the food being old and cold. The customer service is horrible! My family and I will NOT be...

I had lunch here with my family yesterday. We called ahead and spoke to a female employee who informed us lunch price and dinner pricing and hours. We arrived during lunch, our expectations were to pay lunch pricing. After finishing a less than satisfying meal, we got the check which included dinner pricing and charging my 10 yr old nephew as adult plate as well. My sister went to speak to management to clarify what exactly we were charged. The manager changed my nephew's to child pricing and refused to give us lunch pricing, the manager even went to review the camera to see what time we arrived, he even stated we arrived before dinner time but continue to argue that we ate most of our meal during dinner and that's why we should pay dinner pricing. We advised we called ahead and we were told we would pay lunch pricing before 4pm, that's what we should pay. After several minutes debating this subject, the manager offered to split the difference in price between lunch and dinner and we would pay half of that difference. My family and I will not be going back to this location again. They would rather argue with customers, be greedy and lose the chance of you coming back again...

This place has better tasting food compared to every other restaurant I've been to in the Omaha area.

They are called international, but it's really just another Chinese restaurant. You find the same Chinese food here that you would other places.

I do wish they had a bigger selection though. The food they have taste great but they have a limited selection of items. For example you won't find any Mayo chicken. Other places have a much bigger selection of items .

The items are mislabeled. They do have labels, but the labels don't match what the item is.

They also didn't give me a fortune cookie. Every other Chinese place gives a fortune cookie at the end. They actually never even gave me a bill. I had to walk to the counter and wait for someone after I was done eating because nobody came back to the table with a bill.

The lady was super friendly though and made sure the used dishes were cleared from the table quickly. Restaurant is large with plenty of seating.

In all, if you want great tasting Chinese food, this is a good spot. Just don't expect a ton of items to...
