This image attached was one of the few times I actually managed to remember to take a pic before just diving right in on it. I gotta say I must've been in the right place at the right time, bc I over heard him talking about some new ideas he was thinking about introducing and one of them happened to be about frying the burritos. I asked him if I could be one of the first to try - and boy was I excited when he said sure! I devoured this dangerously amazing Breakfast Burrito (about $9). Apparently he used to use large potatoes chucks instead, but now he uses Hashbrowns, which I'll admit I like better as I try to stay low-carb when I can, and I'm not a huge potato fan. I was pleased with texture. I didn't go overboard on the toppings and took his suggestions as they let you pick what you want - but I had to take the recommendation from other people and get a side of the nacho cheese. This combined with the Salsa Verde pretty much left me in awe. All of the salsas here are on point though, as he let me sample a few. It wasn't packed, but there were quite a few people come in and out with online ordering and walk-up ordering during my visit. After struggling to get out of my seat after eating just half of it, I knew I had to share this with the community who hasn't been here yet. Also a side note, Everyone's reviews here made me want to try it more and inspired me to want to write this, I saw someone say this is setup like Chipotle and tastes like Taco Bell Buffet - clearly this dude doesn't have taste buds & I appreciate the fact I get to see mostly everything being made/prepared/cooked right before you. I'm glad I didn't have to place an order and watch as the ticket went behind some kitchen wall were my food was eventually coming from - I get to see real talent being put to work on the food I order. Don't get my wrong, - I like De Leons and Abelardos too, but I sometimes question the quality of the food at those places, where-as here I feel more confident in what I'm paying for. Hard to find a place like this outside South O!

We found a sharp price of plastic in our food absolutely unacceptable. Not to mention the service is horrible I ordered online it took 30 minutes after my food was supposed to be ready to actually receive the food. And this happens everytime normally I give a place a few times to get it right but this happens everytime I order online. But with my wife almost joking on this it really could have been fatal. Wow just wow--- I upgraded this to a three star rating because javi called me personally and gave me the scoop on things they are working on to ensure this doesn't happen again I will say javi is very dedicated to is costumers although this is very serious, he assured me he would do everything in his power to prevent from happening again. Very professional and I hope the best for Javis tacos. I will give them another shot as we love the food and supporting small business. Every business has there bad nights he showed candor, take accountability and the will to makes changes. Thanks javis

The loaded breakfast burrito is enough for two people!!! The quality is fantastic and the service you receive while there is top notch.

Revising my original post. I suppose you only want to go in during the day when the owner is present. I had been raving about this place to my wife and finally convinced them to give them a shot for dinner. I grabbed it after my daughters softball practice. For starters the girl at register was helpful. It kind of went down hill from there. I ordered 2 adult meals and 3 kids meals. The manager seemed more interested cleaning and closing items than helping the line cook get the food out. After the food was bagged up I asked once if everything was in there. The line cook said yes. I then rattled off the 5 meals. The line cook said yes. Well, once we got home my son’s taco meal was not in there. Perhaps if the manager was more attentive to the staff vs trying to get out of there sooner this wouldn’t haven’t happened. I called up and the manager answered the phone. I let her know about the situation. Her response was can you come back and get it? I let her no, it’s almost 8, I need to get my kids fed and in bed. Her response then was “well what do you want me to do?” With a very rude tone. I said nothing I suppose I just call up tomorrow for someone who seems to care. She said well I offered to let you come get but you can call and talk to Javi tomorrow. She then hung up the phone. Absolutely horrible service from a “manager.” Not once did she apologize every seem to care. Basically like ya, it happened so what. I’m very disappointed I’ve promoted this business here, Yelp, Omaha Food Lovers, family, and friends.

If you go, make sure Javi is there I suppose. If he’s not the quality of service...

First of all I want to say that I am so disappointed with the customer service and the way I was treated this time at Javis. Normally, I am able to give glowing 5 star reviews for their customer service and their food. But sadly not this time. While their food was still top notch this time, their customer service was beyond poor!! Today, we order a big family order to go. When I arrived no one acknowledged me standing in the pickup line even though I was standing right in front of 2 people. Then when I did get my order I asked them to check and make sure I received all of my order in the bags since it was a big order. The girl “helping” rolled her eyes and rudely said that everything was in the 2 bags. So I took the bags and headed home. I should have checked myself but I was I. A hurry to get home to feed my family and then head out to another meeting. When I got home sure enough they forgot my husbands order of a burrito. When I called back to explain that they had forgot some of our order, the girl that answered the phone was rude and said that we never ordered a burrito (without even checking). I let her know that I was looking right at the receipt. She then proceeded to tell me to hold on and called her supervisor to the phone and I heard her say to her supervisor that I was giving her a hard time. How was I giving her a hard time by just telling them that they forgot some of our order and that I had to drive all the way back to get it? The supervisor got on the phone and apologized and said she could make the burrito. So, very disappointed with how I was treated and the very poor...
