Main Street Cellar — Restaurant in Omaha

This establishment is amazing. My brother (passed away 2022) was the architect for this location's most recent remodel. We had his memorial 1 year post that detrimental event. They housed, in his memory, all his friends and family for a remembrance. I cannot say enough how accommodating they were for this special event. My family is forever indebted to their service to all who knew him. They will always have a special place our hearts. I’ve never been treated more terribly than I was by the owner of this joint. Sad because it’s a neat place. The owner thinks public schools should not exist and that if you can’t afford private school you can just do online school. I tried to tell him I had been a public school teacher for over 20 years and asked him to stop - he just doubled down. I’ll never step foot in there again. I love downtown Elkhorn and I love wine…but...

Awful experience. No one greeted us when we came in. We sat at our table and no one came over. No wine list, no options to choose from. We had to go up and ask for what we wanted. No explanation of the concept of their business. Only one wine per varietal to choose from. We finished our wine and still no one came over to ask if we wanted more wine or food or anything!
