McDonald's — Restaurant in Omaha

1. Charged for 2 15.00 gift cards. Ordered one $15.00 gift card but received 2 cards. One $5.00 one $10.00
2. I tried to call the store and the Phone # is hidden in an odd sequence of #'s. Says phone but was busy so took a couple moments to figure out what they did.
3. Once I figured out the number, it rang then gave me a fax tone. No way to contact this store. It's just a game for McDonald's and they're playing with innocent customers that are just trying to correct a purchase.
4. McDonald's isn't friendly. McDonald's doesn't care at all. Still all about the mighty dollar and avoiding the problem we as customers have. I'm pissed? You guys suck! I don't go to McDonald's but this was a gift for my boss and I paid twice for this useless gift. The cashier lied when I told her I ordered a 15.00 gift card. She said it wouldn't do it. Wt heck? She didn't acknowledge me and was speaking Spanish super loudly the whole time. From arrival till she finally gave me the gift card. Took like 5 minutes waiting during her private conversation all while messing up my gift card order. And let me ask why the phone number only has the area code separate and the rest of the numbers bunched together? And why does the number ring into a fax line?? didn't pay attention to what she was doing. Went to give me a $10 dollar gift card. Reminded her I ordered a $15 so she closed the door on me made me wait for about 4 minutes opened the door and gave me 2 gift cards. One $10 & one $5. I told her it's supposed to be a $15 she said it wouldn't work. Bold face lie. She wasn't paying attention and lied to cover her a**. This was supposed to be a gift and go in a card.
5. Well, I tried to call today and speak to a manager. I had to decipher the phone number because it only has the area code then the other 7 numbers all together without dashes. I was in a hurry so it took a moment to get what they had done. Annoying!
6. After letting the phone ring about four times I got a fax machine tone. I thought I called a fax number. I tried again. I again got a fax tone. Way to go McDonald's! You take jobs from humans, you confuse people by making it easy to find a simple phone number, then, you avoid calls by conveniently making it impossible to call in. No wonder you give a fax number. You don't want anyone to call because customers would be calling all the time to complain and you wouldn't get any work done. 2 cards just don't work in a birthday card. I wanted to do something a little thoughtful for my boss.

This is my go to McDonalds. I have 10 years experience in fast food, and lately at this McDs they have been having issues with their computer systems since their remodel was done. This is also the ONLY location in Omaha that serves burgers and the famous Big Mac at late night. Everyone else switches to Breakfast already.

Now I'm an overnighter so midnight is my lunch time. I went to my/this store tonight around midnight with my night off from work. Needless to say I was in a good mood and paitent, just wanting to get my Big Mac and some fresh fries.

I pulled up at this store and all the lot lights and signs were on and I pulled through drive and it was dead inside the store. I had pulled aside in the lot and called the stores phone number and a lovely woman answered. I didnt catch her name but she was the manager. She was very friendly and told me to go to the second window.

Now when I got to the window she amazed me with free coupons for breakfast. She then ask me after a moment of speaking to her what I was looking for tonight for lunch. I had told her my usual and she said "I will be right back, stay right here." I sat and waitied pondering paitently. Another crew member came to the window and asked me if Id like a drink while I wait, and I said sure. Amazed, this just made my night. He gave me a drink and then shortly after another crew member checked on me and then the manager came back with a bag of food. This was just awesome because she didnt have to get me food. It was just great customer service! She told me that alot of customers don't understand the system issues they've been having and she was glad I was so polite. She gave my food as a treat and also made my night.

Herself and her crew were very friendly!! McDs needs to get in there and fix their system so they can have more happy customers like me that just want that famous Big Mac...being the only location in town that has them latenight.

Only go here if you want bad service and even worse food!!!!! Leonard management feels it’s ok for their managers to threaten their customers with small children as well. As you can tell it was a wonderful experience not only that when I requested a refund the store manager threatened to call the police and after dealing with their office it took a week just to get refunded for the horrible food we didn’t even eat!!! Obviously they take for granted their customer base and treat us as more of an inconvenience then anything else. I will be spending my hard earned money somewhere else and I suggest you do the same!!! Videos of the staff and their conduct will be on YouTube later check it out. Apparently if you have worked for this company for a while and according to their owner “the employee hasn’t shown a consistent pattern of this behavior” then it is acceptable behavior for this company.
