Buddha Belly Chinese Cuisine — Restaurant in Omaha

Moved up here last year and been trying alot of Chinese places and none have been ok compared to what we use to get. Saw this place recommended so grabbed some Togo and it's now our go to for Chinese. The dinner is big enough for 2 meals, so far tried the sesame chicken and the triple delight one with low mein one with white rice and it was amazing. The taste is good, the portion is good and the price is the best. Also tried the chicken egg rolls, egg drop soup, wonton soup and fried dumplings. The sauce with the dumplings is fire, even dipped the egg roll in it 🤤🤤 the egg drop was the best around and had corn in it, I've never seen that but it was thicker and had flavor. My husband said the wonton soup was the best he has had here and tastes good it was just the wontons was a little over cooked. For Chinese I would definitely say this is the best in Omaha that we have found so far. Edit. Tried the shrimp in lobster sauce which was good and our friends got the chicken curry and loved it and the beef and broccoli and also agree it's the best Chinese in Omaha. I would give this place less than one star if I could. I placed an order for pick-up for my family. Unfortunately, they made my order of Mongolian Beef incorrectly. When I called to explain, they we're very apologetic and offered to replace my order either that night or at a later date. I was not able to make it that night so they took my name down and said they would be more than happy to make it right when I called.

So, here is when the great customer service comes into play. I just called and the guy clearly remembered who I was, but decided to inform me it was my fault that the order was incorrect. This completely took me off guard... I proceeded to try and discuss the previous conversation, but he was more interested in arguing with me, and to put it nicely, told me to go somewhere else.

We have ordered take out from this restaurant for years. We will not eat in the restaurant as it is filthy. It smells like old built-up grease. That said, the food has always been good and the people pleasant. So we overlooked. Tonight, I called to place our order at 7 PM. The man who answered the phone actually SCREAMED into the phone : "I busy!! Call back in 45 minutes!!!" And then hung up.

Guess what?! You just lost a loyal customer! I've called another Chinese place who is not as expensive as your restaurant and includes 2 crab rangoons with every entrée. No additional charge. Ready in 15 minutes. Worth the trip into Omaha. Oh, and did I mention, they were NICE?
