McDonald's — Restaurant in Omaha

I can’t believe I’m really doing a review on a McDonald’s but I feel it’s necessary. Today’s visit at this location is about the 5th one. In my opinion this is enough visits to know that the good service isn’t just a one time fluke. My husband works on the road so we go a lot of places. I’ve not been to a McDonald’s with acceptable food or service in as long as I can remember until this location. I’ve now been here enough times to order all my favorites and I can honestly tell you that everything from the Big Mac to the Chicken nuggets are ON POINT. I even had an ordering issue in the drive through a few weeks back and the manager was very professional and explained the problem and a possible solution as well as offered an apology and paid for my lunch. The kids working here don’t act like the typical spoiled brats which you find at most locations. The food here is actually good. It’s unbelievable. There is a location right across the street from me but I’ll drive to this one out of my way every single time. This store deserves recognition. This location has been consistently "Okay". Of the few years or so they have been here, I can't say that I have had exceptional or above average expectations.

My latest visit, to appease hungry children on the fly, was a , well it didn't make me happy.

I ordered 2 kids 6pc nugget meals, 2 milk, 2 apple slices, it was read back to me correctly, along with order of a combo double qtr lb'er with chz. And a Big Mac solo.

Double Quarter pounder was missing a 1/4 lb patty, and cheese. The big mac was a dry lettuce loaded sandwich with a little flavor. The buns looked better than before though, but what's between it is what matters.

When my order was called, 208, got handed 2 kids meals, and a sack by a gal, I imagine was a manager, dressed differently, asked if I was given the accompanying milk. I said no. She put one milk in the sack, and off she went. She handed me two happy meals...

For such a very well staffed store, basic math like two kids meal=2 milk, or that even a double quarter pounder has TWO patties. This should not be a continuing issue, but hey, that's...

Went through the drive though for a quick dinner. Ordered two 20pc nugget meals. And two cokes. The person taking the orders must have been in a rush because I had to have him add the two cokes after he had completed the order out. Never asked if my order was complete. Never mentioned which window to pull forward to. Pulled up to the first window and no one was there. Pulled to the next window and the guy had to take my money back to the first window cashier. Then let us know that the nuggets would be a while, so they had us park out front. Waited about 10 minutes. And when they brought out the order there was only 20 nuggets all together, even though I paid for 40. The wife had to go back in to get the rest. Where they told her that that was the correct order.
