GO HERE!!!! I ordered number donuts the required 48 hours in advance from a different popular donut shop, all to get a phone call Wednesday saying my order would not be able to be fulfilled on Thursday morning due to weather. Sugared Ledge to the rescue! When I walked in Wednesday, they too were completely sold out of donuts but the door was unlocked so I had the pleasure of meeting what I assume to be the owner and/or manager, Josh. The conversation was simple. I told him that my daughter was turning 10 and I was needing number donuts for her birthday the very next day! His response: “We would love to if we’re open.” He gave me his phone number and said to text him later in the day to confirm the order. I did so around 6:00 at night and by 6:30 the next morning, my daughter had her birthday breakfast wish fulfilled. Customer service 10/10! Where do I even start? I stalked (in a safe FB way hahaha!) one of their bakers, Amber, because she didn’t my daughter’s bday cake a few years ago and we still talk about it! I found her and gave her a pretty vague idea of what I wanted, I basically gave her the colors I would like and flavors and said you go for it. She didn’t not disappoint. When Amber showed me the cake, no joke, tears sprang to my eyes. The cake was BEYOND gorgeous. The colors, the details. And the cake and buttercream itself were perfection! So light and the buttercream is what dreams are made of, not overly sweet, just a perfect complement to the cake. Drove 30 minutes to check out this place and they only had six different donut options. Google photos are definitely deceiving. It was 10 AM on a Sunday and they didn’t close until 1 PM. I asked the girls where all the donuts were and they said they were busy all morning. This was highly a lie because the two donuts that I chose were cold as if they just took them out the refrigerator and opened the store. Most donut places have room temperature donuts, or at least warm. These donuts were so cold I didn’t even want to eat them driving home. Also, the customer service sucked.
