Choose a different bar. I can't think of another time I was treated this poorly by a stranger for no reason. The experience would have been better if he had just ignored us. I'm thankful that I didn't go alone. It was a scary situation, and the bartender seemed violent. I'm almost 30, and I've been to plenty of bars. I've been asked to show my ID at most of them, and it has never been a problem until I came here. The bartender was rude to me when I tried to ask for a drink, he was dismissive and rude, kept saying "nope" when I asked for a menu then when I tried to describe the type of drink I wanted. I was eventually able to say what I wanted without him interrupting me with a "nope." Bartender said I needed to show my ID because I asked for a sweet and fruity drink. I presented my ID, but he decided that the way I set it on the counter was not acceptable, so he then made another rude comment towards me. At this point, I realized that me looking young was not the issue. This bartender had decided I deserved to be treated poorly the moment I walked through the door. I told my friend that I didn't want to drink here, they agreed with me so we began to leave peacefully and quietly. The bartended doesn't like us leaving quietly, so he calls us nerds, curses at us, and verbally harassed us. I respond by telling him that he is a jerk (I used a different word). He then proceeds to follow us out the door while yelling. He graphically and violently describes what he thinks should happen to me, I won't even repeat what he said to me because It was horrible. He followed us out to the parking lot and continued to curse at us. Dont go here if you are a young african american woman. This bartender was most likely racist and just wanted to bully me - then took it even further and harassed me when I wanted to leave. Thankfully, we didn't let this end our night. We went to Blue Chip Ultra Lounge, which was a great experience. The bartender at Blue Chip was beautiful...
Read moreThursday febuary 8th 2018, went with my wife and a friend. Friend played a joke and was already trying to correct it before anything happened and the bartender put him on blast and totally ruined his night embarassing him like none other. The joke was he handed her a mclovin id from super bad. He had his actual id in hand holding it towards her so she could get it. Instead she scolded him and ruined his night. I understand the seriousness in an actual fake id. But this could've been handled with way more professionalism from the bartender. Instead she created enough of a scene to get the whole bar to look at him like he was so messed up and mumbled some comments. Drinks were good and is close to home but I'll never go there again. I believe if you are a bartender you are also supposed to be an entertainer and be able to joke about and have a good time with customers. Not this place. To each their own. But I'll never bring my family and friends here again. Not saying it's a bad bar but it was all our first time there and to be treated that way just is unsettling to me. That's not where I'll spend my...
Read moreWent there tonight after my anniversary dinner. Staff was nice. Met some good people, but drinks are insanely overpriced. I've worked at M's pub and Beebo's, and a half dozen or more other bars and restaurants. $6.50 for a short Morgan and coke. $7.50 for a dirty martini. Prices are insane, and wish I wouldve gone to green onion. Was hoping this would be a new walkable neighborhood bar. Not worth it. I will be going to cunningham's, green onion, or old mill bar way before I ever...
