Being from out of town, I asked our server for her recommendation out of three choices: steak salad, steak street tacos, or grilled shrimp. She recommended the shrimp, without batting an eye. I ordered the shrimp and it was incredible. I don't say this lightly. The shrimp were huge, and cooked to perfection, accompanied by an avocado and tomato salad, and white rice seasoned with cilantro.
The service was very good. Besides recommending the best dish on the menu, our server was attentive, friendly, and professional.
This is a cool place. Not a trendy night spot, by any means, but modern and comfortable.
This particular night they had a special on drinks, including half priced bottles of wine. The wine list covers the basics, but is not fancy. We had the Mark West Black Pinot Noir.

Read morePlease, please, please, when someone comes into your restaurant, please wait on them. We stay at the attached hotel quite often and end up in the restaurant, lounge each time. Our stay, last night, was no different, except after sitting in a booth for 15 minutes and waiting for the waitress to bring us menus, or at the very least ask if we wanted a drink, we decided to leave. It would have been different if she would have been busy, but everyone was taken care of and the cook?? and the waitress were just standing there talking. All I'm going to say is "BIG mistake....Big mistake" the restaurant we ended up at was fantastic and the waitress earned a $25 tip on a $35 bill. The only reason I gave three stars is because we have never had this problem before. We had a new waitress last week and she was wonderful on her first...

I was looking for a good meal and a good cocktail. I’m pleased to say I got both. My Co-servers and B-Tenders Brandon and Lindsay steered me completely straight. The bar was well stocked with beer and liquor.
First I asked for a skinny/clean margarita and Lindsay nailed it. Brandon suggested a tequila I was unfamiliar with but very good. Out of caution I ordered the chicken Ceasar (hard to mess that up) and it was one of the best I’ve had lately.
Good food and drink. Fair prices. Good service. Only four stars because on a Friday evening I was looking for a little more energy. But I suppose that’s up...
