This place has gone extremely bad. I've been here multiple times to eat since they moved to the new building. Every single time me and my family have gone there it's always something different. One instance when we hit the button some rude girl answered and told us could we wait a min. No please can you hold or sorry we're busy please hold or nothing. Another time when I pushed the button I would have to wait 10 + minutes for anyone to answer and eventually I would drive to another restaurant this happened several times. The last time I went there were two girls with headsets on (workers) playing outside by the cars laughing and being super loud. They would go in and come back out chasing one another. At the same time, me and the car beside me have been waiting for about 5 mins or longer after pushing the button. This went on for another few mins until I pulled out and went into the drive-thru. I even had to wait in line after being told to please hold because they were outside playing around. By this time the woman that was waiting beside me gave up and left. When I finally got our food and drinks all the food was almost cold. I only get my kids a few hours on Wednesday and I definitely didn't want to spend that much time waiting on food. It's happened every single time I've gone after around 3 pm. This place used to be a great place to eat. I particularly love the onion rings, cheese sticks, and burgers. But I will not be going back to this restaurant in Oneida TN ever. I don't know if it's poor management or team leaders or what but something definitely has to be done. The building is nice but everything else sucks. If I could put negative numbers I would. One more thing if you read this review go ahead and read the other reviews about Oneida sonic before eating there. And if the main office of the franchise really cared about the reviews they wouldn't post the same thing on all the reviews. Actually do something about the store...

I stopped by here with my mom to eat after I got off of work. We had two separate orders and the girl was fine with it. What we weren’t aware of - that we found out after everything went down - is that we could only pay for one order on the machine out front and that they’d have to take our card to pay for the other order inside.
So we were voicing our concerns to the girl who took our order when she came outside and brought my mom her food. She went to go check on what was going on and next thing we know, a lady who I’m assuming was a manager came outside to speak with us.
The manager was trying to tell us that the card reader was not working at all to which my mom replied and said that it took the money off of her debit card. The manager was trying to act like my mother was lying so she opened her banking app to show the lady the transaction. After that, she became rather rude with us. My mom was actually talking to me about how maybe we should just turn around and go to McDonald’s and the lady said that she “didn’t know why you brought up McDonald’s, but there’s no use it that. It’s uncalled for.”
To make matters worse, my mom didn’t even get everything that she ordered! She told them on at least five separate occasions that she had ordered and ice water, but we didn’t notice it until we had already left and we were both too upset with how we were treated to go...
Read moreWow, just wow on this place. I'd give zero if I could. It started off i asked about getting a chili cheese frito coney. "We don't have chili, sorry". So I asked for a bacon cheeseburger, "we are out of bacon" so I said can I have a milkshake, "oh, um we started cleaning the ice cream machine, we wont be able to make any shakes or ice cream" I asked why they waited until right before close, "we dont want to stay late to clean it"
So after all of this I order tots and chicken strips. The card reader doesn't work. There are 4 employees outside during most of this just sitting by the front smoking. My food takes 20 minutes to get done and out to me. My tots were cold, I pressed the red button and tell the employee. They say they will make more, as soon as the red light shuts back off it occurs to me to check the rest of the food. All of it was cold. So I press the button again, I tell the woman who answered her response "oh I know its cold, it's been sitting on the counter for 15 min." Why is that? "Oh theres someone out there who wont leave and is making the carhops nervous" so why not send out one of the cooks to bring my food. "They were watching him, to make sure he didnt do anything" my carhop is standing there with my new tots at this point, "I dont know how that's ur problem" she says. And then offers me a refund.
