Corner Pub — Restaurant in Ontario

As stated in previous reviews here, The Corner Pub may not be in the best looking or most ideal location, but it is a very nice little bar. It has 2 pool tables, a new Internet juke box, very nice dart board machines, (there is a dart league on Thursday nights.) 4 flat screen TVs for viewing sports, and some very friendly and nice bar tenders. They often have free food available for customers who come for Monday night football, etc. There's also a pop corn machine, and several game playing machines. The bathrooms are very clean and the place is well kept. I've never seen a fight break out there in the 3 years we've been going there. We find The Corner Pub to be one of the best little bars in the area, despite the rather run down strip mall it's located in. Come in and check it out for yourself sometime.

Me and my Dad were waiting to be served, so we decided to play a game of pool. Racked a game, and finally got approached by an elderly off duty bar tender. She says "order something at the bar or get out"... Very rude. We had already payed for the game of pool, at this point we were approached by another elderly bar tender this one was on duty. She starts to describe how the Corner Pub is not a "pool hall", once again we're asked to order at the bar or leave. We were patiently waiting to be served and order while playing pool. Didn't even get to shoot the game of pool we paid for. After the poor and rude service, we decided to leave. I don't recommend this place to any out of towners! Homeless people in smoking area asking for...

One of the larger places in town. Unfortunately more of a Locals place. If you are not staff or friends with the wait staff, you will Wait for a drink! Spent a Sunday waiting for each drink, was never recognized , so waited each time for each beer!. Definite a local vibe. But if you want a Local beverage stop, this is the place, just don't...
