My wife booked a room here. We called ahead at 2AM and asked what time was the earliest we could check in, and to our surprise was told 4AM. We show up, only to be told "no", and that we couldn't check in until 2PM. We ended up sleeping in the car, without A/C, during this crazy heat wave. To further complicate things, after waiting all morning in the heat, we couldn't check in still due to some policy on the incidental deposit (required it to be charged to the same card used to book initially, unwilling to accept cash or a separate card??). So we say okay, fine, we made a deposit to the credit card but it won't post until the following day, so we just requested for them to either cancel the booking and refund us, or preferably change the reserved dates to the following day. What do they do? Neither. They were unwilling to concede ANY sort of leeway. I was courteous and respectful the entire time we spoke, despite having spent all day baking in the car in their parking lot trying to resolve the issue, and I eventually even offered to pay for a the partial day (it was midnight by this time, nearly 24 hours after our initial arrival at 2AM), if they were willing to allocate our payment to the following day, as we were simply desperate for a shower and air conditioning, having sat through 107°F in the car with a malfunctioning A/C unit. The front desk employee extended not a single courtesy to us, didn't even offer so much as a cup of water to us after the entire ordeal. They took and kept our money, despite never allowing us to ever step foot into a room, despite their own employee misinforming us about the check in time, despite literally refusing our money while citing a technicality that renders obtaing the room the same day impossible in reality, and apathetically made no effort whatsever to extend even a paltry amount of courtesy or service to us throught the entirety of this outrageous incident; they even refused to allow me to borrow the restroom and told me to go ask the Carl's Jr next door!! It is plainly clear for anyone to see these people have zero interest in their customers, the only thing they care about is money, and they have no scruples about taking money they did nothing to earn or deserve. The only comfort I can take from this entire nightmare is that you can only treat others so despicably and callously for so long before it eventually comes back to bite you in the a**, and considering this is how they choose to run their business and treat their customers, I have no doubt it won't take long for them to be reap what oats that...
Read moreALL desk staff whether it was 3am, 10am, 3pm, evening or night was ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE!!! NO CUSTOMER SERVICE or RESPECT was EvEr shown. We arrived from the airport about 1:30am, we were tired, cold and found the doors were locked and a sign taped to the door stating they were at lunch for 30minutes, yet had no time as to when they'd return. (I had even called the day prior to let them know we had to take a later flight & we'd be arriving at 1:30am & was told it was not a problem as there is someone is always at the desk)There was nowhere to sit...there was a family with 4 young kids with 4 adults outside waiting too. The kids were cold (temp was 52°) and tired and were laying down on the sidewalk. By the time the front desk person came back at about 2am there were another couple waiting to check-in also. They employee didn't acknowledge us nor did they even come unlock the door and welcome anyone we just heard a click & tried the door which was the door being unlocked. Again there was no acknowledgment, no eye contact just a "click" At approximately 2:30am there were 20 people in the lobby waiting to check-in (I counted because it was So Stinkin REDICULOUS!!!) I won't even go in to detail about how unmotivated & slow she was taking to check-in. FINALLY got our card key to go up to our room, when we stepped into the elevator It REEKED of Pot & BODY ODER, The carpets throughout the hotel/motel were stained & gross. We finally got up to our room around 3am afraid to open the door not knowing what kind of gross condition the room was in...Fortunately to astonishment it was actually nice once you shut the door and it was actually quiet all 8 nights we were there, if anything the maids & janitors had no volume control to their voices it was ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS!!! BUT I will honestly say the beds were so comfortable and the shower was Wonderful. Per other comments we Fortunately were not exposed to hookers, drug dealers or just plain s art people. NO I WOULDN'T RECOMMEND TO ANYONE INCLUDING MY WORST ENEMY!!!
I had always been impressed with Wyndham Hotels ... not anymore, Can't believe they'd put...
Read moreFirst off, staff is incredibly unprofessional and downright rude. We booked a three day stay and used two different forms of payment so we had to check in/out each day which was not a problem. The clerk on our third day with an accusing tone asked me if I had paid the $25 fee for my pet. I had my dog with me as we were doing the check in/out when he asked me. Did he honestly think I would bring my dog with me to the front desk if I hadn’t?? I hold him of course I did and his response was, “it would be difficult to sneak in a dog.” That statement to a paying customer is downright rude and unprofessional! What he should have done was check our reservations first before jumping to conclusions. On the night we arrived, the clerk told me he did not have pet friendly rooms available when we had booked our room with a live person via telephone. Rather than ask for my name, he immediately told me he had no pet friendly rooms available and then proceeded to argue with me as I tried to explain we had booked our reservation via telephone. He actually told me to let him talk as I tried to explain this to him. After several minutes of trying to get him to understand he finally asked my name and said “oh, I found your reservation.” They are in serious need of customer relations training at this facility. Second, the room is incredibly gross and dirty (see attached photos). Furniture is old and peeling, bed linens are stained and tattered. Bed itself has the bed springs popping out and is terribly uncomfortable. This being a dog friendly facility, there is no dedicated area for the dogs to relieve themselves and the entire property is littered with dog feces. This facility is incredibly over priced and I DO NOT recommend...
